Absolutely Delicious and Nutritious
I purchased these beans (sea salt and vinegar) after reading about them on a healthy snack post. I'm addicted! I put them on my salad, mix them with quinoa, or nibble on them as a snack. I get approximately 3 -1/4 cup servings per bag. They are a good source of protein and conveniently packaged. Highly recommend trying! 👍🏼

Food of the gods! Delicious, not messy, low carb, high protein, high fiber on-the-go snack or meal.
I first had lupini beans while on a road trip to Kansas in 2022, but couldn't find them locally. Thrilled to find them on Amazon. I have a trip coming up to NYC, with no in-room kitchen or fridge, and need something that I can eat for one meal each day. I eat paleo due to problems with grains, so I don't eat normal breakfast foods. I designate certain foods (that others might eat for lunch or dinner) for breakfast. But I can't eat those on my trip without a kitchen. I also eat lower carb / higher protein. The lupini beans are perfect for my needs. They're already cooked, shelf-stable, and TSA-friendly. The flavors are awesome, too. I plan to add some Poshi artichokes and some olives to have a breakfast "salad." Nutritionally, these things are amazing. One package has 15g carbs, 20g protein, and 5g fat for only 175 calories! Plus there's 15g of dietary fiber. It's a perfect carb : protein ratio for me...I don't have to hunt down fish, beef, or chicken (so hard to find it in restaurants without all sorts of additives!) to go with my carbs. They will also make a great emergency breakfast for those occasional mornings where I don't have time to fix my normal foods due to deadlines or have to get out the door to an appointment. I would also recommend them as great eat-at-your desk food--safe for electronics and not messy. The best part? They taste amazing and are addictive! I've never been able to handle breakfast bars or protein shakes. These are way better! In terms of kids, my middle two kids weren't impressed, my grade schooler was neutral, and my foodie was a fan.

Brings back memories of my childhood
My Sicilian Grandmother introduced these amazing beans to me when i was just a little kid. I've eaten lupini beans since those days and enjoyed them. However, I've never had lupini beans with added flavor. While the flavor is subtle, I do appreciate an attempt to cover the brine taste. I never minded the brine taste, but I understand those that do. Texture and taste are what i've been used to, not too firm or too soft, bit of zing from the brine in addition to the subtle flavor. One thing I was disappointed in was the size of the beans. I am used to a much larger lupini bean. These beans are half to a third of the size I grew up with. It doesn't affect the taste or texture but I think it does hinder in the handling and skinning of the beans. Not a big deal but something to consider if you are more familiar with the larger beans. For those reviews that give bad reviews on the taste, I get it. Lupinis are not for everyone, just like edamame. However, these are one of the most amazing nutritional foods out there. High in protein, fiber, magnesium, potassium,... a true superfood. I like the packaging of this product. Easy to store and transport. Much easier than the jars I'm used to. Expiration date issues as reported by others is not an issue. Ordered the variety 8 pack and all have expiration dates of 5/2020. I like this company is trying to promote this little wonder bean. As a lupini bean lover I hope you keep it up and bring us more options for this product!

Not cooked all the way
Great flavor, product would be amazing if the beans were fully cooked rather than crunchy.

A healthy snack I don't get sick of.
So I bought the Balsamic and Oregano. This is important because I've also tried their original flavor. I over-salt everything and the original was too salty even for me. But the Balsamic and Oregano are amazing! The balsamic is the leading flavor without being overwhelming. I ordered the biggest pack they have and for the first time ever, I'm considering the Amazon "Subscribe and save" option. The serving size is 15 beans = 40 calories, which is crazy low! I eat them out of the pouch with chopsticks and they are big enough that 15 beans is actually a decent serving size. Plus, if I'm having a particularly hungry day, I can keep munching and generally feel satisfied before I even reach 2 servings. (Which is nice because I'm trying to get in shape and it's always been frustrating that 10 almonds is 69 calories but doesn't take the edge off my hunger AT ALL.) All that and somehow it doesn't really feel like a health food? Which is crazy because apparently they super are. It's so viscerally satisfying to eat something because I like the flavor and get surprised by the fact that they're actually good for me. Generally it goes the other way around for me. Stupid bran muffins. Anyway, I digress. I love these beans and I'm buying them again. If you like balsamic then I think you should give them a try too. (Though you'll have to buy them online because Whole Foods never carries the balsamic ones anymore, darn it.)

Only opened one flavour so far, but it's nice, and the consistency is very supple, it does not feel "pickled" at all, which is lovely.

This product is inedible. It is not a replacement for a crunchy snack in any way shape or form. I cannot imagine someone eating it on its own as it is sold. It is slimey in texture and the flavours are really strong to overcome the awful texture. I wish I hadn’t opened it so I could return.
