It has just been a day since I installed so can't really comment on long term use but first impressions are it is a good solid product. It is strong and well made , no manufacturing defects. Would have liked if the manufacturer provided information on size of holes to be drilled for the screws/plugs but for those interested, the product comes with 8 screws and plugs. If installing on cement/brick wall, use a masonry drill bit size 10mm to for the plugs to go into the wall. For the screws , use a PH2 phillips head screwdriver atleast 30 cm long. If not using plugs (maybe on tile or other surface) , then I think a 6mm drill bit for the screws should be the correct size.

I had got a new Bathroom made for my father and did not want to install the old chrome-plated ones and as it is they had lost their shine and were looking ugly. It took me a lot of days to decide which ones were sturdier than the rest available in the market and looked decent in his bathroom. I have posted 2 pics along with my hand for you to understand the size. I felt this one to be perfect in size and there was no need to go in for bigger ones. Yes, they are nonslippery. I tried pulling them even tied my Mastiff dog to pull them but they would not budge. Then I placed a ladder near them and stood with my full weight approx 82 kilos as I wanted to check how sturdy they were. Now the Important part --- Mark the holes where you want to drill keeping the bar in place it has 3 inbuilt holes in a heavy steel part. I used the 6mm Drill bit and drilled as per the screw provided with them. This is important that you use the same plugs and screws which came with the bars they are heavy and long and thicker than our normal screws. Tighten the screws(You would need a 2-foot-long screwdriver to do this) or get it done by a carpenter. Cover with the lid provided. P.S -- There are a lot of other similar-looking bars and if you check on the reviewer till now just one or 2 or 3 reviews in their entire shopping history on Amazon which means they are definitely fake. This is a good product. Steel used id 304 (heavy) and has higher corrosion resistance. The handle is covered with nylon which is anti slip. There are also two bands which are radium so can be visible in the darkness. Will recommend to anyone looking for grab bars. Good craftsmanship and superior quality. Easy to install. Value for money.

Good product. Mainly for elderly citizens. I fixed it near shower. Hope the PVC outer casing lasts long. Worthy purchase, considering the agony and cost involved in bone fracture that happens mainly in wash rooms.
