Do you have to use it as a bomb and spray it all at once or can you choose to stop the spray?

Yes, it will work. I bought a car with heavy shampoo perfume. After that, it smelled like blood had been in the car, or someone had died. I used this, not as a bomb, but as a spray, twice and the smell is gone. I ventilated the car after 2 hours, then waited before driving.

I want to use in a pop up camper. Horrible cigarette smoke smell. 1 or 2 cans? The canvas above the beds on either end smells the worst.

I used one can to get rid of musty smell in a 45 year old car worked great . If I was you I would get 2 cans .
