I bought this for traveling with my 3 year old. I thought it would be useful as a night light and a reading light on the plane for him. I am very happy with it. It puts off a good amount of light, and its soft white light, not the ultra white light you get with some LED's. It uses a watch battery and can be picked up and carried or set down anywhere. It's bright enough for some light reading in a dark room, or used as a child's night light. It's lightweight and fits easily into a side pocket inside my purse, so I can take it anywhere.

Cute but not for kids because they leave the light on and the battery dies fairly quickly. I bought it as a nighlight my kids could have next to or in their bed but of course they fall asleep with the light on.

Was surprised by just how small it is! Very bright, definitely kid friendly & perfect for attaching to top of a Gandalf staff.

This is egg sized and would be great in a spring basket. you do have to whack it rather firmly, but the light is very bright and easy to use. My toddler had a glorious time whacking it and saying "on" and then whacking it and saying "off". would definitely buy again.

Very cute, easy to use. Gave as easy Christmas gifts for extended family, and they were a big hit.

I keep one of these in the top of my hall closet, which doesn't have a light, so I can easily search for stuff I'm storing up there. It's a useful thing to have around!

I bought this little egg light for my son who is 8 and loves flashlights and he loves it! It's a wonderful small size and the cool feature of tapping the bottom to turn it on and off is really unique and fun. My son keeps it by his bed, when he has friends over they love using it in blanket forts and on late night trips to the bathroom. It's a perfect novelty shape that functions wonderfully. I've had a few friends ask where I got it, so it's already on my Christmas list for people for next year!

Nice, solid little night light. Terrific size - fits right in the hand. The only thing NOT great about it is that it comes without any directions - I had to read through all the reviews to find out how to turn it on and off. (You tap the top of it.)
