The whip that came with my ATS Mini snapped, so I picked these up as a replacement. Immediately worked fine (at least for VHF). It seems big and sturdy (though the plastic part at the bottom *may* be similarly vulnerable, I'm not about to try to snap it in half to verify that). But, hey, there's two for fairly cheap, so I have a backup if that happens. I assume you could get something similar at AliExpress, but the price seems well worth the convenience for me right now, personally.

Excellent reception, very sturdy. Easy positionable to any angle. SMA connection makes it very easy to use.

You can use these to pilfer the connectors for modifying a Sony UWP wireless mic kit with SMA connectors. The connectors are the same kind you need to reuse the OEM Sony antennas on the receiver. You can find just the connectors on AliExpress but they're harder to find (and more expensive) here on Amazon. These antennas are the cheapest Amazon option I could find.

I will take the SMA off this antenna, I will add insulation in between, then I will added 2 antennas for 1/2 wave adjustable dipole. For Aircraft band, 2 Meter Ham radio, MURS walkie talkie, VHF Marine bane and NOAA weather. Also for 222MHz Ham band, UHF Ham Band and for GMRS, not legal for FRS walkie talkie.

Telescoping antennas are always a bit fragile. I managed to destroy my original TinsSA antenna. This makes a good replacement and seems a bit sturdier. It is working fine for my application.

The first antenna works great, the second does not. The lower end of the antenna is way too loose and flops without any stability. The first one works fine.

Excellent value, solid, compact- work great with my small receivers - the photo shows strong FM signal at 104.3 MHz at shortest length of about 5.5 inches - also, shows reception example at 15 MHz WWV in Fort Collins, CO, 1500 miles away when extended to 24 to 28 inches. Performance, of course, varies with quality of your radio, atmospheric conditions, local environment, etc.

Good product, the connecting jack is not compatible my FM transmitter.

Very flimsy, weak item. Breaks soon.
