The best shampoo in the market
I’ve tried so many shampoos for my oily hair and sensitive scalp, and this one is by far the best. It leaves my hair feeling super clean without stripping it or making my scalp itch. The peppermint scent is refreshing but not overpowering, and I love that it’s made with natural ingredients like aloe vera and argan oil. No sulfates, no residue just soft, healthy hair. Totally worth it!

This shampoo works!
I have had a rough time with my dry skin and terribly dry scalp for a long time. My friend got the Soapberry body wash and really liked it. So, I bought it and it's great. Really helped my skin. So, I decided to try the fragrance free shampoo, Argan oil. I just got it yesterday and used it this morning. It is the best shampoo I have used ever! For the first time in years, my scalp hasn't itched all day! If you have been through the itching, burning of scalp, then you will know what I mean. It's natural, nothing weird! I wish Soapberry also had a fragrance free conditioner! I am very allergic to fragrances. This is now my "go to" shampoo! Love it!

Gentle and effective!
I have thick hair and although less dense than before I had kids, it is still a lot. When I used to use regular shampoo and get my hair colored at a salon, I had a lot more falling out and my scalp became exceedingly sensitive. At the worst of it, it would welt on day 3 after coloring. It always felt tender, as if sunburnt. I stopped coloring. I switched to Rahua shampoo which is way more costly than regular shampoo but my hair responded in kind. The scalp sensitivity is gone. The welts are gone. Less hair loss. This shampoo is just as gentle if not mores0 than Rahua. It does not lather as much as the hydrating version of Rahua but smells less medicinal than the original Rahua. My hair tends to be dry so use the lavender scented shampoo that is formulated for dry hair according to the description. On the box, it doesn't seem to indicate that. I do like the scent--it is mild and not overpowering. It smells clean and not artificial. There is no lingering scent really on the hair-- just clean. I do use a few drops of marula oil on my ends just before blow drying and that seems to be perfect hydration and protection enough so that my hair does not feel overly dry but soft and still bouncy. Love it. Hope they never change the formulation.

Great Product!
I am very impressed with this shampoo. I have suffered from some type of shampoo allergy/scalp irritation ever since I became pregnant with my second child (8 years ago!). I eventually found a shampoo that worked for me and used it for several years. I'm not sure if they tweaked their formula or what changed, but I started to get a lot of build up, and I became unhappy with it. About 6 months ago, I switched to a new quite expensive shampoo that is not organic but is also supposed to be EO based. My scalp wasn't irritated initially, but I always had the hardest time getting the product rinsed out of my hair and it often looked very greasy after blow drying. About 3 weeks ago, my scalp became extremely itchy and irritated. I was more miserable with this condition than ever before. I even had a friend check me for lice because it was so bad. So, I turned to amazon to read reviews on good shampoo for irritated scalp, and settled on Tree to Tub. I'm so glad I did! After the 1st wash, I noticed a HUGE improvement. I would say that my issue improved by about 75%! I've now used this shampoo as well as their Argan Oil Conditioner 3 times, and it has continued to improve. I still have a little itching here and there, but the burning and soreness has completely gone away. I'm so hopeful that with continued use, the itching will disappear as well. This product is light, and washes out so easily. My hair feels so light and clean - not oily at all after washing.

Bye bye itchy scalp!
Hi, so this is my first personal care product review and I felt it was imperative to leave one for this item (so far). I have been depressingly suffering from scalp seborrheic dermatitis for about 15 years now. I’ve been to the dermatologist in Los Angeles (where I’m from) and she prescribed the Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo set, ketaconozole shampoo, mineral oil I never used as the side effects freaked me out! Etc etc... these were all temporary fixes and just a band aid on the wound 😔 I’ve tried most shampoos she prescribed me and they completely ruined my hair! I had knots for days looking like a rats nest! It would temp. clear out my scalp for some short months and come back again! I’ve been looking for a remedy that will lessen my dry scales, the itchiness at my scalp and not ruin my hair (anymore than it is due to seborrheic dermatitis) and I haven’t found THE one special go to hair care item. I purchased this bottle, thought it was very expensive (dislike) for a small bottle (I did not purchase the conditioner as it is pricey) but thought I’d give the shampoo a try since soapberries are supposed to be for sensitive skin. I’ve only washed my hair once with this but I can tell within these two days of not washing it my constant itchiness has subsided! This is a good sign (I don’t expect this to cure me but I look forward to continued use and hopefully keep my symptoms to a minimum). Have in mind that the bottle does say GENTLE lather so don’t expect grand foamy bubbles. Pump some out of the bottle and really massage some in your hands and then on your scalp to feel it’s soft cleanliness. Massage this goodness all over your scalp first for 5 mins and then bring down to your hair....it does lather and smells like lovely lavender essential oil. It left my hair soft, it has great ingredients and too bad there aren’t too many reviews left for this item yet! I recommend trying this if you have my same scalp issue, sensitive scalp, light psoriasis, excema, troubled skin etc that is sensitive to chemicals. I will post here after a month to update my review and journey.

I have eczema and I have suffered from dry/itchy scalp for years, even when I transitioned away from commercial shampoos with sulfates to commercial shampoos without sulfates, I still got the occasional dry spot and my hair got greasy after two/three days. I recently experimented with the Noo Poo method, which is using baking soda diluted in water as a shampoo and using ACV diluted in water as a conditioner and, while it does leave my hair shiny and grease free for a week without washing, I still had dry patches at the base of my scalp. Not to mention the baking soda irritated the raw skin on my neck. When I first tried this shampoo I had high hopes due to the excellent reviews and I have to say it does live up and exceed expectations. My scalp is clear and itch-free, and my hair is smooth and shiny. I noticed a difference after the second time I used it, and I can go a full 7 days until I notice a bit of grease on my scalp. My hair is hydrated and smooth, compared to dry and brittle from using commercial shampoos. I’m happy! I have to mention a couple things: - This shampoo has very little foaming lather but that is only because there are no damaging surfactants in the formula. It will still do the trick and you only need two-four pumps depending on your hair. - if you’re looking for a fragrant shampoo I find this has very little scent. This does not bother me as I have problems with perfumes - I have not tried their conditioner but use rosemary-infused ACV instead, I’m sure theirs works wonders!

Muy buen champú. Natural y con un olor agradable. Saca la espuma necesario para lavarte, y eso que yo tengo mucho pelo. Me deja el pelo limpio y suelto. Mi tipo de pelo ondulado y normal-graso.

I love the way that this is packaged - the box makes it look like a premium product and it comes with a little nut like thing called a "soapberry" which you use as a facial wash after soaking and also can grow your own. I find this quite unique and quirky and would love to be given this as a gift. I love the fact that the shampoo has a dispenser - this avoids using too much and makes it easier to use. As for the shampoo itself - I found it really gentle - I have highlightened hair which is a little dry - this was moisturising and left my hair feeling soft. It was surprisingly easy to rinse out - I have used natural shampoos before and found they have left my long thick hair a bit tangled - but this doesn't. Just don't expect too much lather as it doesn't contain the nasties that other shampoos contain to make lots of bubbles. A good quality shampoo, smells very "lavendery", without all the nasties that others contain.

I've been struggling to find an all natural shampoo that actually works well. My scalp skin it's very sensitive and reacts badly to most shampoos. I have found one other that it's incredible but I don't like the smell. This product it's amazing! It's very concentrated so it doesn't need a lot to foam up and my hair is long. The ingredients leave my hair soft and clean and the smell it's amazing. I also use it as a shower gel and my skin has been super soft even when I'm in a rush and don't have time for body lotion. Really impressed. The price unfortunately reflects it, but then it's imported since in the States it's not so expensive. But I'll definitely be buying it again in the future. I highly recommend it.

This is my second wash with this shampoo and I quite like it. I do find that it lathers quite nicely despite what some of the other reviews say. My hair is soft, shiny, and feels nice. I can’t say that it has worked any better or worse than any standard shampoos I have tried before though. It has been quite gentle on my skin though which is nice. I only condition my hair once every 5 washes. I found the first time I used this shampoo (I didn’t condition) it made my hair quite tangly. But that shouldn’t matter if you condition. My only complaint is how expensive it is for how small of a bottle. I was surprised at how small the bottle was and I thought it would be bigger. But I understand that is the price you pay for small batch, quality made products.
