Bought this to protect my brand new luggage. I bought a size up — 26” for 24” SOFT luggage. I needed the width but it was a little too long so I used clear packing tape to make it fit at the bottom. Unlike reviews of some of the cheaper products this has several Velcro strips on the bottom to keep it securely fastened. To give a good description of the material it is made of, its kind of like the sturdy plastic “bags” that comforter bedding sets come in, but with openings to fit luggage. No problems with handles fitting since there are zippers on both sides and a large opening for the top handle. I really like the see-thru aspect because I bought luggage with a pattern so I could easily distinguish my luggage on the carousel. I’ll update my review if anything changes on my trip home! But so far I’m really impressed. I think it was worth the extra few bucks if it continues to work as well as it did on this first trip.Update 3/2020–Just has to travel for work amidst fears of coronavirus contamination. I don’t know if these truly help but I feel like they may have helped protect my luggage from possible direct surface to surface contact — and it was so easy to wipe them down (and the luggage handles) with Clorox wipes after the trips. I wish I had purchased one for my underseat piece, and if the company sells one I will order it today!

The suitcase protector was a bit snug for my 26" London Fog. It took a little more effort to put it on, but definitely worth it. The Velcro that attaches under the suitcase worked very well. Some of the slits for the side handles didn't match, but it was not a problem. After a two week trip with two plane changes each way, the protector had some small holes in random placed due to luggage handling, but my suitcase was not damaged. I just put packing tape over the small holes and I am good to go again!

I travel alot. I bought one of these for a mid-sized suitcase. First of all, the fit is terrible, I had to actually use a clip to hold the velcro end from dragging on the floor when walking with my suitcase. The actual plastic sides, were torn, ripped, and black marks everywhere from the baggage carousels. Definitely would not purchase again...its in the trash now.

Bought this to protect another bag as we had purchased a larger size to protect a hard side case we just used on a cruise.Fit was good and protected our case. A few marks on plastic but held up. The fit on this one for a 20" case fits great. Willbe using it for shorter trips.

I used this for my trip to Columbia and it helped keep my luggage from getting banged up and scratched.

The quality of item is poor ie the way it is secured (velcor) does not seem to be sturdy. I would think that the cover would slip off the suitcase very easily while being loaded & unloaded on plane.Also, to return would cost $120, item to purchase was $21.54 inc tax. Seller is from China, Amazon does not takeresponsibility so unable to return to them for refund.

It doesn’t stick and way too long, and I’ve to put tape over it. Durable plastic maybe need a proper measurement??!!

These are beautiful, well-made, well-fitting covers. Don’t tear, shift position or come undone. One thing - allow plenty of time for shipping.
