I rate this at 4.5 stars. It is just about perfect, except for a couple of design flaws that could probably be improved.The size is perfect for my little 1BA 1BD cabin of 600 square feet which is kept continually fragrant with the essential oils I put into this large diffuser.Pros:-Large 3000ml tank size can last a couple or more days if you turn the dial up only a couple of dots on the adjustable dial. My house is tiny. I work at home, so I wanted something that would last all day and, if possible, all night. I have a smaller 100ml diffuser and kept having to refill it several times a day to get the benefit of having my living space remain therapeutically fragrant. I was happy to see this extra large 3000ml diffuser on Amazon and ordered it right away. I'm glad I did.-Easy to fill the tank with liquid + essential oil, plug the tank shut with the tank's screw-in plug, so it does not leak, and place the filled tank onto the base to begin using it. The see-through corner allows you to see how much liquid you are pouring into the tank. You can see where this see-through feature is in the photograph....it is the dark colored strip on the right-hand corner of the upper part of the diffuser in the photo. This see-through feature also allows you to see how much liquid is left in the tank so you'll know when you're running low and need to refill it.-It doesn't leak. I've been using it almost daily, 24 hrs continuously, since it arrived August 4, 2017 and it hasn't leaked.-It has a relatively small footprint because it is tall and narrow. The base measures 6 inches x 6 inches square. It takes up minimal space on my countertop, my bedside table, and on my desk. I looked at several models of diffusers and was looking for something that would not take up too much surface area on my work desk. This one is perfect for my purposes.-Safety feature of automatically turning itself off is a really good feature. You do not have to worry about it drying out and overheating.-The changing colors light is an attractive feature, although it isn't something I was specifically looking for. I would have purchased this diffuser even if it did not have lights. When the room is dark, the changing colored lights give a nice soft glow which is not intrusive. I can sleep through the night without being disturbed by these softly glowing, changing colored lights.-The tall design is plain and clean looking. It is not distracting and tends to blend into the background. And, as I mentioned above, it doesn't take up much surface space (the base is 6 inches x 6 inches). I measured the height to be at about 13 inches tall. It is best to avoid putting this in an enclosed shelf space unless you allow at least 6 inches above the top of this diffuser to allow the scented mist to disperse properly. I strongly recommend you put it somewhere it will not have anything above it so the mist is free to disperse in as large an area as possible.-The speed and strength of dispersal of the mist is fully adjustable, using the round dial which is marked with dots. Turn the dial to the right (your right) to set the misting power higher. Turn the dial to your left towards "Off" to lower the setting. I set mine low....just a couple of dots after "on" and I get sufficient benefit of the misted essential oil.Cons:- The screw-on plug for the tank has a moving part which tended to fall off. I used a rubber band to keep it in place for now. I am thinking of putting on a lightweight metal coil spring to try to hold the two parts of the screw-on plug together. For now, the rubber band is working okay to help keep the plug in one working piece.-This diffuser is difficult to clean the inside of the tank. I left my diffuser sitting for a couple of days while I was out of town. My diffuser had automatically turned itself off like it is supposed to when it runs out of sufficient liquid, but while I was away, the unit remained damp so some mold had formed on the sides of the funnel/tube inside the tank that you fill with liquid. I had to get a long-handled Q-Tip (the kind they use in hospitals) to clean up the spots of mold. I also used a thin bamboo chopstick w onto which I wrapped a cosmetic cotton ball on the end which I secured with a rubber band.....it resembled a giant Q-Tip. I dipped the cotton end of the hospital style Q-Tip in rubbing alcohol. I did the same with the cotton end of the bamboo chopstick long-handled Q-Tips. With these, I was able to reach into the tank and clean out the spots of mold. Then I wadded up a cosmetic cotton ball and dipped that in rubbing alcohol so I could wipe down all the surfaces that I could reach with my fingers. So....It is not easy to keep this diffuser clean once the mold starts growing in it.To prevent mold from growing, I have to remember to fully empty the tank and turn the tank upside down to drain it and let it dry out before using it again. Also, I turn the base upside down and let it drain and dry. This way, I've been able to control the amount of mold that may show up.Overall, I am very pleased with this large diffuser. I would give it 5 stars, except for the difficulty of keeping it free from becoming moldy, and the tendency of the screw-in plug of the tank to disassemble.The instruction manual warns you to watch for mold and warns you to not let the liquid sit too long inside the tank and base. So I am vigilant about draining both the tank and the base and letting them dry out before refilling and re-using.Compliments to the persons who wrote the user's manual. There are pictures with the step by step instructions to help you properly use this diffuser.Perhaps the designer of this diffuser could design one that can be easily washed out after each use to deal with the possibility of mold growing inside the diffuser.

I love it! This puts out so much cool mist, it is a like crazy choo-choo train! You must regulate the dial, because it will go through 1/2 gallon of water in one night. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a way to turn off the light. It is very pretty, only if don’t mind light when you are asleep.

I got this because it's huge and you can put essential oils in it for diffusing. I don't use my expensive oils in it, but it does fragrance the room using my cheaper (yet still decent) oils. It is easy to use and the design is simple. There are a few issues with it, though, and I'm not sure I'll keep it. I got it less than three weeks ago and have used it daily.My issue with this is that the screw-on cap that closes the water tank, has a piece in the middle with a spring that has already fallen apart. I have managed to put it back together so that it's usable, but then today, the rubber gasket decided to come off and now when I turn the tank over to put it on the base, water just pours out. If I'm careful, it doesn't make a mess, but I'm just not sure this diffuser/humidifier is worth keeping.The mist output is great and adjustable. It does help to humidify the room. It's just that one piece, which is a very important piece, that won't stay together.
