Not bad for the money. Would buy again.
You get what you pay for with glass and optics. While this certainly isn’t the best optic in my collection the size makes it very convenient to bring along. I payed around 20 bucks for it and brought it along my backpacking trip through Europe. It took up hardly and space in my bag and provided okay magnification. Quality definitely drops off in low light conditions but it’s still usable. I dropped it a few times and it got rained on a couple of times as well. It still works. 10/10 would buy again to serve the same purpose, a cheap convenient optic that I wouldn’t be heartbroken if it got lost, broken, or stolen.

Works well, good value
It works well, is easy to hold and has clear optics. For the price it seems very good value. It's very compact and easy to hold. Nice and solid feeling, I don't feel like I'm going to break it accidentally. The case it comes with is functional but nothing special. No complaints really.

OMG! Don't buy!
This seemed to be what I needed for my get home/bug out bags. It's small and easy to grip and use. However, the field of view at 40 feet was so SMALL that I knew it was a no/go.All I could see was a shake image with a Field of View aprox 4'x4'.In other words, if you were 40 feet from a man standing by a car, you'd get an image of the man from his waist to about two feet above his head. To see the front & back of his car you'd have to scan the car all the while trying hard to keep the stinking thing from moving 12 feet off target just because your fingers twitched a little bit.Wanted to like it but it's junk! Reminded me of something you'd get in a cereal box...yes, I am that old.Going to just use an 8 power scope I use to have on my AR. It's light, only 2 inches longer but has a wide field of view.

Found Wanting.
The media could not be loaded. Honestly, this thing is cool, yes. It is a cheaper monocular that you can just throw in a bag for a little better view of something further away. So, how does it hold up?Well, it’s a sturdy plastic. The eyepiece feels like a somewhat cheap rubber. I say this because I tried to see if I could fold the eyepiece to use on sunglasses—nope. So, you can’t use it with sunglasses. The magnification:It’s okay. It is decently clear, but really is only clear to about maybe 300 feet, if not a little less. It’s good for birdwatching from your house or at a park, as long as the bird isn’t too far. I’d say the minimum clear magnification is about 20 feet (reasonable for that).I gave it two stars because it feels a mix between somewhat sturdy (main housing) to cheap (eyepiece). The magnification isn’t great, but for a kid or someone who just wants a compact monocular to throw in a bag, it’s okay. I just would say this is worth $10, more like one you’d get at a National Park gift shop. For a hiker or someone needing something more serious, I’d say spend more money for a better compact monocular. I won’t return it, but I think I will look for a better compact monocular.
