I got this phone for my mum and set it up for her and it works just fine. You need to create a Google account or use your existing Google account for this phone to be able to download apps. I set up WhatsApp for my mum and she uses it easily. My mum is elderly and it works well for her, so, I recommend use for an elderly person.The phone is nice and slim, great size, and good battery life. It’s unlocked and works in a foreign country too.

Let's start with what I like about this item.The cost is first, the lowest cost wins.The phone does work and runs all apps.Now for the dislike of the phoneSlow, like I'm not a flagship phone snob but this is stupid slow. Also need to mention that it may not happen often but apps will quite often simply close when using. Like it starts a task inside the app (open keyboard, microphone, tab switch, that type of thing) will simply cause it to close.Any app that you open will take at minimum 3 seconds to load and about 10 seconds longer if it is a bulky app. Once in an app you do any action and you must wait 1-2 seconds while it processes.If you restart it takes almost 3-5 minutes to load upTheir branding throughout the software resulting in many features being removed such as theme colors and settings.Good thing this is simply a backup phone and would recommend doubling your price and simply getting a phone worth the money. I've been using a Pixel 6a the last few years and refurbished they are around $200 and are snappy and have 128GBs of space dwarfing what you get with this flimsy phone.Overall - If this is a daily use, I would recommend saving your money and saving up for a better one. If it is simply to replace a phone or for a Kid, this would be ideal.

Dont buy this phone the battery is broken and doesnt charge anymore afterr a bit using I have talked to Amazon about it they have connected me 5 times to people and on the end they said they will refund and when it comes to redund they dont

I noticed It has a long battery life and charges quickly with the cable provided making it ideal for senior people like me who frequently forget to charge their phones. It also operates very smoothly on commonly used apps such as browser, YouTube and Facebook. This phone is impressive in general. If you're on a tight budget for a smartphone, the TCL 30Z is a great option.

I like the fact that I can be doing two texts simultaneously. I like the bold colors of my pictures on my phone. I like the face recognition feature to log on. What I don't like is the fact that if I get a text and someone views my phone while the text is coming in, they can read it. For the price of this phone, I am very happy with it.

This is the worst phone I've ever had. Biggest complaint is the battery needing to be charged constantly. I go to bed w/it fully charged and in the am has about 1/3 of the battery left. I turn the screen off at night.Half the time it won't send gifs and they also hard to receive. Takes forever to download.The other problem is when I am on an app or website,it just automatically goes back to the home page. I Should have returned it,but now I'm stuck w/it. I had a TLC before this one and it was great. Not this one. Do not recommend.
