Celtic Owl Knotwork Human Skull Statue Pagan

There was plenty of thought put into this expertly crafted Celtic skull. It’s so unique that is does not go unnoticed; and that was the case before I made it part of my dining room centerpiece. When it stood alone on a shelf, it garnered complements; it is not at all chinchy, nor does it look like a Halloween decoration from the Party Store. Therefore it was the perfect skull for my DIY dining room center piece. I bought an ornate birdcage from Tuesday Morning and spray painted it silver. Then I made a wreath with aqua roses to place on the bottom of the cage. (The aqua matches my chairs.) I stacked classic hardback horror books to include: Dickens "Miss Havisham", Poe’s "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" and Henry James “The Turn of the Screw” inside the wreath and placed the Celtic skull atop the books. Lastly, I tied a glamorous, thick aqua ribbon where the cage meets the dome. My charming, goth centerpiece is fun for visitors to inspect, it suggests good reads and it remains thematic with my iconoclastic home decor. Thank you seller for choosing unique, quality items!

Nice detail made well

The print is a little faded on the back of the skull but other than that my fiance absolutely loved this. Also, it's not solid. Its hollow but it has a little weight to it. I think I'd buy it again if need be.

Intricate details and nicely made. Decent weight, and looks good in general. Would purchase again for myself, or a gift!

More or less happy with the item. Its a lot darker than expected, and brownish in color (photo looked greyish to me). It's super light. I was expecting this to be a heavier plaster, it seems to be light resin.Whoever did the ink wash was generous, which washes out the details at a distance, but looks nice up close. The details could be better. Seems like a bad cast of a nicer piece- the knotwork animals look like some of their faces were done with an exacto knife, as opposed to some carving tool.Even with the imperfections it still looks pretty cool, and I didn't pay a ton, so it gets the higher rating. Had I paid more, I'd be returning it.

I gifted this to an old friend of mine for his birthday. He loved it. I was tempted to keep it for myself. It was absolutely adorable.

Love this! I use it on my desk at work for decoration, it adds that gothic touch I was looking for without it being unprofessional for the office! I will definitely be buying more!

Looks great on my bookshelf! It is lightweight, but not to the point where it seems cheap! I am very pleased! Now I can make the hamlet reference, “to be, or not to be”
