Is there an experation date

Technically, there is not an expiration date for any military surplus MRE because the life of the product is completely contingent on storage conditions. Basically the cooler you store it, the better. The official shelf life is at least 5.5 years. The manufacture date should be printed as a four digit Julian code and can be found printed on the packaging on the MRE. To read a Julian date code, please see the following example: 4235 = August 23rd, 2014 **The first digit represents the year it was manufactured i.e. 4 = 2014 or 5 = 2015, and the last three digits represent the day of that year. So in my example that is the 235th day of 2014 or as I stated August 23rd, 2014.

Has anybody ordered these lately (may 2019) ? Us says 2012 or newer pack date but that would make them expired already ! What yall get for pack date ?

Mine are all 2018 or newer inspection date if ordered from me. Most are 2020.

What flavors do you get

So far, I received 5 different flavors but there are more. I cannot remember all since retiring from the ARMY.

Can you guarantee to me that the meals i order will have an 2016 or newer package date?

i purchased them and i can not guarantee what the seller sends to you , i am eating them , last night was meal #22 and my box is insp/test 02/19 i love to eat this stuff
