Has anyone had any problems with their cat grooming themselves and then getting sick after using this product?

I only used it once on my animals, including three cats. They appeared ok after treatment but a Toy Fox Terrier almost died from neurological complications from the powder. Cost me hundreds of dollars to get her back to normal activity (uncontrolled shaking, dehydration, etc...) I tossed it after the vet told me how lethal the main ingredient is...he stated it was basically used as an outdoor flea killer in grasses and weeds. I wasnt willing to take the chance even with the animals that were non symptomatic after the first treatment.

I would say no. Product states do not use on kittens younger than 12 weeks. So let's say a month is about 4 weeks, therefore 12 weeks is about 3 months. This product then should be used on kittens 3 months & older. I really like this stuff because it can be used on kittens, cats, puppies & dogs. I volunteer with feral cat TNR ( trap/neuter/return), & foster stray dogs. It's not always easy (ferals) or affordable to properly treat for fleas. This is versatile - one product, several animals. I sprinkle on puppy pads under traps & can sprinkle on cat if it is not too crazy when trapped. At least something to give them some relief from fleas. Have been using zodiac for years. Hope this helps.

Anyone know how effective this is for *ticks* on cats?

Insanely high priced for what it is, but it works just as well as back when it was cheaper.

This works. It always has. No issue with resistant bugs. I have a feral that I use this on because other things didn't work and he, being a flea magnet, was miserable.The price is crazy though. Try to catch it on sale.

Doesn't seem to deter or kill fleas

Our cat brought fleas in after he got out of the house and we've been battling for weeks. We have been using this and there's no difference in fleas at all and I'm a bit worried about its safety in the house.
