To the manufacturer, does this product have any maltodextrin in it? Natural flavorings are almost always on a maltodextrin carrier which is why I ask.

Glad you asked! 😊 The powdered flavors are created through a spray dry process that turns liquid flavors (botanical or spice extracts—in this case, fruit extracts) into a fine, dry powder that delivers taste in a blendable and shelf-stable form. 💯 Also, for our flavored LMNT options, we use a tiny amount of maltodextrin as a flavor carrier. And by tiny, let me put this in some context. I know many folks in the keto-verse use our product, and they may imagine their pancreas are exploding due to their exposure to admittedly high glycemic load carbohydrates! But, there are many devils in those dancing on pin-head details. One teaspoon of maltodextrin has about 4 grams of carbohydrates, similar to most sugars. Terrifying, right? Well, here is the thing, in a stick pack of LMNT there are a few MILLIGRAMS of maltodextrin. There are one thousand milligrams in each gram. I’m not sure if this is a great analogy, but here goes: a gram is like $1,000. A milligram is like $1. Hi there! The 2g of carbs are from the citric acid. We also have a Raw Unflavored version with 0 carbs.

Is it true the watermelon and chocolate do not contain citric acid? I need to avoid it

I’ve only used the raspberry flavor, citric acid is the second ingredient listed. Not sure about the other flavors, but would assume its the same.

Worse than a waste of money

Absolute garbage. Had the worst sleep I've ever had after taking this muck. Avoid at all costs. I've only just noticed they don't allow returns. Now I know why. Would give zero stars if possible.

I really like the LMNT electrolyte drink mix but I usually drink the unflavored one. Although the flavored ones do not contain sugar, they have 2 g of carbohydrates and stevia leaf extract. 10 calories per serve. I would but this product again though as a good replacement for sports drinks.

I absolutely love LMNT Raspberry! It gives me a nice boost of energy, helps debloat, and keeps me feeling balanced. No other electrolyte drink I’ve tried provides 1000 mg of sodium with almost zero calories and no sugar, it’s a game-changer. The taste is amazing, and you can adjust it by adding more or less water depending on your preference. I’m on my third box, and it’s just that good! (Though I will admit the price is getting steep) If you’re serious about hydration, energy, and quality electrolytes, this is worth every sip.
