Great for Bog Garden
I expanded my large tabletop outdoor bog garden which has pitcher plants, sun dews, cranberry and terrestrial orchids. This soil mix supported very productive healthy growth and helped retain rain water.

Carnivourous plant potting soil
This soil is the best I have ever used for Venus fly traps. My plants have thrived and grown substantially bigger than other soils I have used. I would definitely recommend this soil for your Venus fly traps. This is a Top-notch product.

Very dry, Water resisting at first
Resisted all of the water I gave it causing my fly trap to not get water for 1.5 weeks. Had to sit there for 30 min mix it with water to get it to absorb and then replant finally. Otherwise, I think it’s good soil. TBD

Wonderful!!
Great product! My fly trap is very happy! It immediately absorbed all the water and has stayed moist in the planter i use. There is more than enough in the bag for my one plant. I guess this means I need more plants lol

Great quality, but not enough as advertised
The soil is well packaged and a great quality, however the chart adversities 1 qt. is enough for a 6" pot... it's not even close for mine. I'd recommend measuring the dimensions of your pot and calculating how much you'll need instead of relying on their chart!

Soak first for best results
Came a little dry / hydrophobic, so I did have to mix it into some distilled water and let it soak before use. Works wonderfully now!

Too dusty from peat moss but works
Works ok but very dusty, needs more spahagnum and a bit more dirt, the peat is very fine so take time to soak it before using it, saves a lot of time
