Firstly the plinth is solid and very heavy. The walnut finish is good and you can see each one will be individual. The platter is very nearly perfectly flat. I have never seen one totally flat but this is as good as I have seen. My eyes miss nothing unfortunately for me. The tone arm is quite light but that's no bad thing. Overall it is well put together and for the reasonable price, well finished. Sound wise it is just fine. There is a slight hum noise if you turn the volume up full with nothing playing but I was expecting that. It is presumably the built in pre amp and might not do it if you by pass the pre amp and use an external one. Otherwise I am delighted with the sound it produces with the built in pre amp. Tracking seems faultless. It was very easy to put together. It shows every speck of dust on the walnut surface but what could be done about that? Perhaps the white one would show less but probably wouldn't look as good. To clarify a couple of points. Some reviews say it has a plastic tonearm. It does not. The arm is aluminium painted black to match the aluminium platter. Likewise the speed knob is solid feeling metal. The whole thing is very solid and well made. The cartridge sounds excellent. Some reviewers have mentioned speed variations but I have detected none. It was between this and the Rega Planar 1 for me. The Rega has no pre amp so you would likely need to buy one and has, I believe a much lighter plastic plinth. It is also £50 more. It is doubtless an excellent machine but I am glad I chose the Fluance RT81. I heartily recommend it.

Dieser Plattenspieler ist nur für High-Hifi-Fans geeignet. Eine Start-Stop Automatik gibt es nicht, auf Bluetooth oder USB solltes Du auch verzichten können. Dafür bekommst Du ein Gerät mit Ober-Klasse-Ambitionen zum Einsteiger-Preis. Für mehr Komfort (Halb- oder Voll-Automatik) werden locker 100 bis 200,- € mehr fällig. Das Gerät wird ordentlich verpackt geliefert. Der Tonkopf, das Gegengewicht, der Platten-Teller und der Deckel sind separat verpackt und müssen montiert werden. Der Zusammen-Bau ist für Laien nicht ganz einfach aber mit online Videos gut möglich. Die Anleitung liegt nur in Englisch bei. Ein "Vinyl-Fan" kennt die Prozedur vom alten Player - aus die 70er und 80er. Der Spieler macht einen soliden Eindruck. Er sieht wertig und sehr edel aus. Der Deckel ist leicht getönt, die Chich-Anschlüsse sind vergoldet, ein vergoldetes Kabel (ca. 90 cm, mit Erdung) ist im Lieferumfang. Ich nutze ein ca. 150 cm AUX Kabel mit doppelter Abschirmung (vergoldet ohne Erdung). Das Netzteil ist extern, der Anschluss an der Rückseite. Der Tonabnehmer ist ein Original von Audio Technika mit elyptischen Schliff, der gesamte Tonkopf ist wechselbar und Upgrade fähig. Ich habe das Gerät an einen Denon AVR 1200 angeschlossen. Dieser hat keinen Phono-Anschluss. Die Wiedergabe über einen analogen Chich-Eingang funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Sound über meine 7.0 (Polk ES Serie und JBL L-150 Serie) Lautsprecher Konfiguration ist fantastisch - in Stereo und DTS-X (ein AVR 2800 ist geplant). Für Grobmotoriker mit schlechten Augen ist das Gerät nicht geeignet. Festere Berührungen (auch das Schließen vom Deckel) sind in den Lautsprechern hörbar. Die Bedienung (Tonarm mit Lift Aufsetzen und Abnehmen) erfordert Gefühl und Übung. Fazit: toller Klang, ein Klassiker für Fans, ein Hingucker im Wohnzimmer, Erinnerungen an Lenco, Thorens und Technics werden geweckt - frag Mal Google :-)

Delivery was earlier than stated, right in time for the weekend. WOW! This TT is amazing. Did a lot of research and decided this was the one for me and wow, I am so happy with the decision. Incredible machine. First of all, build quality is so good. This things looks and feels so premium. You can tell Fluance put a lot of thought into it. Everything feels so solid. Also, it came ready right out of the box. I measured everything and it came level and set up right away. Instructions were very clear, set up took minutes. It makes my speakers sound even better. I haven’t tried the internal preamp yet bc I have a separate phono preamp and wow, what a huge difference. It’s a TT anyone would love to own and for the price, I don’t think you’ll find anything better. It’s probably better or at least as good as more expensive competitors, no doubt. I love that it is quite heavy, definitely has some heft too it which is great and why it feels so premium. The cartridge that comes with it makes the difference in sound and adds to the value of it. Last I checked the cartridge alone is almost $100 CAD. Considering it’s a third of the price of the whole package, it’s definitely a very good deal indeed. Will spend all weekend playing records now (originally delivery date was Monday or Tuesday). Big thanks to the Seller for delivering quickly and Fluance for making this beautiful TT. I got piano white and this thing is gorgeous. If you are considering this, I would say go for it. There’s literally nothing to dislike about it.

Kam leider ohne das erforderliche (deutsche) Netzteil an. Da ich Laie bin und der Meinung war das alles Zubehör dabei war, musste meine Tochter an ihrem Geburtstag auf die Musik verzichten, weil leider Wochenende und dann ein geeignetes Netzteil am nächsten Tag erst geordert werden konnte.
