Contigo AUTOSEAL Pitcher Set with Infuser Stick and Ice Core, 72 oz.

It is a large pitcher that comes with an infuser and an ice core. The fact that it is sealed and won't spill were the reasons I bought this as a pitcher for my kids to use to dispense milk from their 'kid fridge'. They both use Contigo autoseal cups in their bedrooms for water at night and I thought this might be a good solution to help them begin learning to get milk for themselves.Then theory met reality. The button on the pitcher is shaped poorly, with an angle, and requires more force than should be necessary even for adults. The fact that it is angled means my thumb begins slipping off the button the moment I push it. The kids have trouble pushing it in the first place but they can do it if they try. Then they have to readjust their grip once or twice. The pitcher could be redesigned with a more positive and easy-to-activate mechanism. I can only fill the pitcher about 1/5 to 1/4 full before it becomes too heavy and unwieldy for the kids to use but that was expected.For adults, the pitcher works fine even if the trigger is not as good as it could be. This would be great for outdoors as it would keep 100% of the bugs out and has the ice core for keeping drinks cold. For every day use it has an infuser for lemons or limes or, as my wife recently discovered, cucumber slices in your water.

I like this Contigo Auto Seal Pitcher so well, this is my 2nd one! Let me start by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with my original - 3 years in and it still works great. I decided to purchase another one so that I always have fresh, cold lemon-infused water in the fridge, even when it's time to wash the pitcher. I've not used the ice cylinder, but the infuser works wonderfully. The only times I've ever experienced leaks, were due to user error - either it didn't have the top tightened well or I overfilled the pitcher. I do hand wash everything, never put it in the dishwasher, which may help extend its life.

Great pitcher. I havent dropped it yet, so I cannot speak to its durability. We make alot of punch in our house, and I wanted a pitcher that I could add the powder and shake to mix it, rather than get a large spoon and stir. Works like I wanted to, just need to make sure the collar is tightly twisted to the clear pitcher portion. I add mix, secure the lid, and shake it like you would a bottle of water to mix. I will say that if you use a sugary mix, you should wash the spout part completely each fill up. When using Crystal Light, I fill and re-fill washing it fully every 3 or 4 fills. It holds more than a normal 2Q pitcher, but seems like it is actually shorter, which is nice depending on your fridge shelf height. Handle is comfortable. I will say the harder you push the button, the more the flow when pouring, so a kid with weaker hands may take a while longer to fill a cup.

I luv this pitcher. The infusion tube is wonderful. The autoseal keeps the fruit fresh longer. Usually lemons start to sour after a day but in this pitcher they last at least five with refilling the pitcher. The size is not as big as I thought and the inserts take up room but it easily fits on frig door shelves with room for other items. You have to get the hang of things to work the lids and inserts, but follow the direction sheet! I can't wait to use the ice insert to keep beverages cold outside on my deck if it ever stops raining in Ohio lol.A good purchase, great offers on Amazon, fast delivery. !!!!

Wish I would have sent this back. Possibly the worst Contigo I’ve ever purchased. For me, it’s near impossible to get lid off as well as pushing the button to pour. If you can’t fill it or pour from it, it’s pretty much useless.

Had this for over 5 years and just had to buy a new one! I accidentally pierced the plastic. With a Cutco knife while doing dishes otherwise would not have had to replace it. Love the fruit infusion feature or keeping it cold with a ice stick. And the pitcher could sit in your car sideways and not leak because the seal is that vacuum tight!

The pitcher is fine, but the ice core accessory does not fit into the lid (for a tight hold) as described in the instructions... so it just floats/rattles around inside the pitcher, diluting the drink as the ice (inside the core) melts. UPDATE (August): Contacted Contigo and they immediately shipped me the missing part. Now works EXACTLY as described and is the perfect, ultimate pitcher for any beverage what you want (a) to stay cold for long periods, even in 100-deg heat; (b) not to get diluted by melting ice; and (3) is 100% leak-proof. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Bought this because I love the brand & love their insulated mugs. BUT this pitcher needs to be redesigned to make cleaning the lid easier. As you can see from the pictures, impossible to throughly clean the lid. May not be an issue if you don't use it everyday & the lid has an opportunity to dry.But my wife used it daily for almost 28 days for her lemon infused water. Even though we rinsed everything before refilling it, the lid never had an opportunity to dry.Returned.
