Will this kit actually fill in a hole in the drywall or just cover it up?

It comes with what any painter would use..it has a small screen to cover the hole, and the patch to cover that..you lay it on and then use the given sand block...we had a hole about 2.5 inches, and now that the wall is painted, you can't even tell where it was, even up close. THE great thing about this kit is that the spackle is laced with primer too, so no extra step when all layers have cured, just paint then, no primer needed.

Could i patch a single gang box hole with this? i am deleting a 110v outlet and trying to figure out easiest way.

Kind of a silly queation bit can this be used over wallpaper like mobile home walls?

I just used this on a wallpaper wall in a mobile home. It works great! Like someone else said, the finish isn't perfect, but it blends into the wall surprisingly easy if you have a lighter colored wall.

can the patch be cut in half to fix 2 holes?

Thank you for asking. The patch can be cut as long as it is done so that there is still adhesive available to bond to the wall.

Simple and works well

This 3M small hole repair kit is super easy to use — perfect for fixing nail holes and small dents. The spackle spreads smoothly and dries quickly. It includes one repair patch, which worked great for a slightly larger hole, but just note you only get one. Be sure to seal everything back in the bag tightly so the compound doesn’t dry out. Fantastic Product

I'm definitely not a DIY expert, but this 3M Small Hole Repair Kit made fixing those annoying drywall holes incredibly easy. The self-adhesive patch is genius – it just sticks right on, no fuss. The spackling compound is smooth to work with and dries pretty quickly, which I loved because I could get to painting sooner. Quick fix wall patch

Great for quick repairs. Very easy to use especially in small areas. Not too thick. Dries quickly and blends in well. Smell isn't too strong. Container size gives you plenty of material for multiple repairs. Great value for the money.

Made the fix easier

Bought to fix 2-inch hole on the wall. I’ve used 3M Small Hole repair compound before and always worked well. Wasn’t quite sure if this kit would do the same and glad I got proven wrong. The kit came with everything; instruction, sanding block, wall patch, and scraper. The quantity of the Compound was more than enough to fix the hole. It dried fairly quickly although I gave extra couple of hours between the coat and extra couple of days to make sure before painting.

I'm not sure what I did wrong but the lid never snaps tight on the Spackle and it dried out
