Holding up well to desert sun
Bought for Christmas 2022, and it’s still going strong after two years of heavy use and sitting uncovered in the desert sun. When it breaks I’ll be replacing it with this brand.

Like swinging in a hammock! And tips for avoiding rust!
LOVE this product. I've seen people post about the item rusting, it seems like there are ways to avoid this. When people hang this, it is located outside, typically in someone's yard. Therefore there is likely grass, therefore sprinklers. I would recommend, as we have done, hanging this swing up out of reach of the sprinklers. The foam that wraps around the metal frame has holes for the screws and seams where the four pieces attach to each other, therefore water can not only enter, but be held inside, which people don't consider in terms of causing long term structural damage. If you have read this far, congratulations. We hammered a 9 inch nail into the tree we hung the swing from and when we are done using it we hang it up on that nail so it is out of reach of the sprinklers. Now, I know you're thinking, "But what if it rains?!" well that doesn't happen as often as the sprinklers come on, nor is it as penetrating as sprinklers. We live in northern Idaho, it does not rain often in the summer time. BUT when the rain and snow DOES come. We will take it down so it doesn't rust! The swing was in great shape, all pieces were there when we opened the box, the rope is adjustable for height and tilting. My husband and I use this swing so it's not just for kids. It's so much fun! like swinging in a hammock! Okay good luck out there! and have fun swinging!

Kids love this swing
My 3 year old absolutely loves this. She likes to lay down on it while I swing her. Her older cousins (ages 6 to 13) loved it too. I was a little concerned that this would be a hassle to assemble (based on other review comments), but it actually went together very easily. Some of the knots on the outside might scratch little hands where the nylon rope was melted & pressed to keep the ends from unraveling. It's not enough to really hurt anyone, but something to be aware of in case your kid says it scratched them and you're wondering what part did it. The metal loops that the ropes attach to are smooth, so nothing to worry about from those.I installed this on my homemade wooden swing set with the Jungle Gym Kingdom Heavy Duty Swing Hangers. Sometimes I also use it with the AusKit Swing Swivel so it spins around instead of just swinging back and forth.I bring it inside when it's not in use, so I can't comment on how well it holds up to the elements. But it seems to hold up fine to regular use.

Way too hard to install.
This swing after it was assembled was extremely fun.It is nice and sturdy. The only things that was super hard was assembling it and installing . When we assembled it the foam of the swing was pushing against the nail holes so we had another person push it back which hurt a lot. Also the instructions should be more clear, at first we did it all wrong and had to redo it.We had to watch a YouTube video to assemble it properly. Now,we have a 30 ft. tree in our backyard. These are the steps it took us.Buy a long rope from Home Depot.Buy a ladder.Buy a harness.Make a homemade slingshot with a rock.Tie a rock to the long rope.Using the ladder, try to slingshot it over the tree two times.Connect it with a harness.Twirl the rope around the swing a bunch of times.Tie an extremely sturdy knot.Cut the extra stringThis whole process took about two hours or so.It may not be the right way to do it but it was the only way we knew how to.But after that the swing was very fun and still is.Its very sturdy and swings super high. And it lasted very long.

Perfect for autistic toddlers!
My toddler is too young for the fabric autism swings. She found them claustrophobic and couldn’t get in or out. This is perfect! It’s just the right size and she can climb on and off. She can even swing on her belly. It’s really helped with meltdowns. The netting is great for her little hands to hold onto. the frame has a comfy foam coating around the metal.Make sure you buy a 360 anchor , and they will be coming in like a wrecking ball in no time!
