I was pleasantly shocked after my order with 2 new looking S-pens arrived for my Note 8 cellphones. I carefully inspected them & then slid them into their slots in each cellphone. The release action worked great. I put each S-pen through some of their paces & was very happy with their performance. From taking partial screen shots to writing notes everything seemed to work like the originals. I am a customer that hates to write, but I just had to say thanks to Amazon for getting a vendor with products that seem to be OEM items & at a reasonable cost, especially in today's raising costs. I am not an Amazon reviewer. I hate to write reviews except when I come across an item like this. I hope you receive the same quality S-pen I did because if you are a true S-pen user you will feel that relief especially after having to use a regular stylist.
