Faulty product
Dear shipper I received the Wallbox Pulsar Max and had this fitted in the last week, after fitting attempts were made to connect to the wallbox via Bluetooth but the wallbox does not make the connection despite restarts of the wallbox, install uninstall of the wallbox app, pair and u pair of my phone, this device seems to be faulty. My colleague who has the same product has attempted to connect to it to no avail. Please can you support with offering a replacement or refund. Simon Allen

Do not buy this product! I did twice and both times had issues
I had my first wallbox working good for 1 year then one day went unfunctional, I contacted company customer support and they asked me to call and engineer installer on site to make for them an written evaluation kind a raport and testing then following that raport they could decide to give me another product. Obviously to save money, time and energy I opted to buy another product from them through Amazon this time with a USELESS extra warranty that costs me 70£ or more for 2 years such a joke.I need to specify that I used the product for only 2 weeks then I went away for 3 months, then I come back guess what, the product didn’t work anymore, first asked me to restart it from the app but without success, then I contacted customer support again for this time issue and they tried from they’re side online restart it but without success. After they this bare minimum they could asked me also in this situation to arrange myself a visit on site with an engineer installer for a rapport. This services ar no cheap to do and I can’t wait for one to be available and in mid time spending money on fast chargings !I am really disappointed that I give it a second chance to their products!

If/when they work, they work!
Delivery from Amazon was quick. The local installer (Ecoplex, IE) installed and configured it after a few days with ease.Pros:1. Easy to use: Tethered, you can use it as plug-n-play2. App is decent enough: configuring the account, scheduling and locking the charger is easy.3. Charging Schedules: configure time of use, as per your electricity tariff.Cons:1. App is the main restriction. Too basic.4. Usage data is basic. Doesn't let you setup the tariff data to generate more accurate reports—you can have only one rate for electricity. Most of the EV plans have time-of-use rates.5. Buggy app and buggy firmware. If/when they work, they work!6. The customer support is very slow or, most of the times, useless!Tip: disable auto software updates for the wallbox. Use the factory version for as long as you can. Disable scheduling feature. Manage the scheduling on your EV rather than the wallbox!

Good looking and functional charger - but terrible WiFi range
This charger was straightforward for my electrician to install. It is a nice size, and obviously charges the car. However, 5m may seem like enough, I would have preferred the 7m. But it's almost £200 more - it works out at around £100 per meter of cable with a charger thrown in.Lastly, the WiFi range is terrible - the app informs you that it can see the network with adequate coverage, however it just does not connect to it. This means I am only able to use the bluetooth functionality (which, as it turns out, you need to use in order to set most functions on the device).

Charger was fine when it worked for nearly 11 month. However it started having a number of error messages which grew more frequent. I am now without a charger and having spent nearly four weeks emailing Wallbox ‘customer service’ I am no further forward.They had decided it is a cable issue which they are well aware of, and apparently sending a replacement under warranty but I need to pay for an electrician to test and fix the cable.Needless to say I have been waiting three weeks for the cable and still nothing.Customer service is a joke.Doing some research I can hundreds of people with similar error code problems - so its clearly not just me.But rather than deal with it, they leave you hanging and paying a great deal more money to charge your car at public chargers.*********AVOID **********

Best Quality - I had to post a review
Now this IS a quality product! Please don’t waste your money on cheap alternatives… where the product and back up are almost illegal. This Wallbox is of superb quality from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Please avoid, you have been warned!
The pulses max was purchased in March 23, noticed the charging cable getting very hot, I am a 30 years experienced Electrical Engineer, I opened the unit to find the connector and conductors charred black and the insulation melted. The customer support is the worst I have experienced, with them accusing me of “manipulating the wires” on reading some of the reviews on here, I have found others with the exact same problem, so a known issue with this lying and deceiving company trying to put the blame on me and avoiding their responsibilities. I conclude that this charger is a dangerous fire hazard and the inbuilt protection devices failed to protect me or the cable. Horrible company!

Good value , nice quality charger
Works well , good connectivity and app , good to have option to buy 5m or 7m cable , no issues so far , would recommend
