Great lens for it's money. Of course there is some degradation in quality at 0.95, but the centre is always good. Corners get good already at 1.4, very good at 5.6 and excellent at 11. Centre gets very good to excellent already from 2.0. So, at 5.6 you have a lens that performs excellent all over. The degradation at 0.95 is not realy disturbing, and part of the charm of this lens. Anyway, it's much cheaper than a Leica Noctilux 0.95 (about 12.500 Euro's)... Keep in mind that on an APS-C sensor this lens behaves as a 75 mm lens !

Obiettivo di solida costruzione e con lenti di qualità. Usato su Sony a7ii in modalità ritaglio, restituisce foto di qualità impeccabile. Se si inquadrano soggetti da 4-6 metri di distanza in su, la qualità è accettabilissima anche a f/0.95.

Although it’s manual focus, it’s one of the best APC lens. I’ve used so far as a standard lens on the camera for most of my video as well as photography when I have the time to take my time to focus.

Me ha sorprendido mucho la nitidez que tiene a aperturas moderadas, excelente en el centro y muy buena en las esquinas. A f/0.95 tiene una falta de contraste muy acusada, a f/1.4 ya se recupera, aunque la nitidez tarda algo más en volver en si. Los reflejos son un problema, no es un objetivo que puedas dirigir a fuentes de luz intensas si no es un efecto buscado. Para mi es un objetivo para experimentar con el foco blando y el bajo contraste, pero que si cierras lo suficiente el diafragma te permite hacer fotografías con mucho detalle.

Si lo usas de noche, es un pedazo de lente. Tiene una buena envergadura, la imagen está muy bien, y los colores también. Tengamos en cuenta que es bastante barato y el rango focal es supercorto, si le haces foco en la nariz, los ojos quedan fuera de foco, pero de noche se luce.
