I’ve got a 2019 Tundra SR5 CrewMax with a 3" ReadyLIFT SST kit up front and 1.5" blocks in the rear (basically a mild level). The factory rear shocks were completely toast at 78k miles – truck bounced like a low-rider anytime I hit a pothole or loaded the bed. Installed these Rough Country N3s in about 25 minutes with basic hand tools (way easier than Bilsteins because the upper mount uses the OEM-style stud & nut instead of that stupid through-bolt). No cutting, no adapters, literally bolt-on. The difference is night-and-day: Bed full of landscaping rock (~900 lbs)? No more wallowing or bottoming out on driveways. Towing my 6,500 lb camper? Zero porpoising, truck stays planted at 70 mph even over expansion joints. Empty on the highway? Rides smoother than stock ever did – still firm, but absorbs bumps instead of crashing over them. Build quality & details Nitrogen-charged, 2" body, beefy 18 mm chrome shaft Came with new bushings and sleeves pressed in – no fighting old rusty ones Black finish still looks brand new after 6 months of Midwest salt Zero leaks, zero noise, zero fade For $99/pair these are stupidly good. I was fully ready to spend $300+ on 5100s or Fox 2.0s, but after 12,000 miles on these N3s I honestly can’t justify it. They handle everything I throw at a lifted daily-driver/tow rig without drama. If you’ve got a 2007-2021 Tundra that’s leveled or lifted 0-3.5" and your rear shocks are shot, just buy these. Best bang-for-buck suspension upgrade I’ve ever done on this truck. Rough Country nailed it with this one. 10/10.
