Tastes funny, but it does the job. My usual routine as a smoker is: Fri-Sat-Sun and then regual Colgate. I do smoke a lot.

This is a great toothpaste at a fraction of the price -the only toothpaste so far that keeps my teeth whiter throughout the week

Seems okay on stained teeth but tastes absolutely vile so won't buy it again.

As a coffee drinker my teeth are sparkling white with this toothpaste - I used when I was on holiday and have to say that brushing my teeth then going out in the sunshine whitened my teeth dramatically! I use this once a day at night time brushing alongside an ultra cavity protection in mornings.

I've used Colgate toothpaste for years, as I always believed it to be the best on the market. But I'm afraid I've changed my opinion having bought this Max White Ultra Active variety. To start with, it's described as "foam", but I found it to be a thick paste which was quite difficult to squeeze out of the tube. It certainly didn't show me any whitening of my teeth in three days, but this didn't bother me as I felt this was a very unrealistic advertising statement anyway. But my chief criticism was the taste - most toothpastes, including Colgate, are usually fresh and minty, leaving a pleasant taste in the mouth. But this variety frankly tasted horrible - no suggestion of mint, but almost a chemical flavour. In fact after a few uses I threw the rest of the tube in the bin. Sorry Colgate - I don't know what you've added to this new variety, but I certainly won't be buying it again.
