This canister is longer and wider than the OEM canister I was replacing. The canister bolts onto a bracket then bolts onto the vehicle. It will not fit onto the bracket.

Wear eye protection, when you disconnect the old canister little bits of carbon will rain down on you.

Did not fit. This charc canister bolts to a hardened steel frame which is how it is held on to the truck. The canister was mis shaped so did sit flat in the steel tray as such could not be bolted into the frame. When buying a truck part, buyers expect proper fitment and this does show it fits my model year. Sorry I didn't take pics, it got dark while I was trying desperately to bend thw steel frame to get this part to bolt in. Would not fit and ended up not working either. I plugged it in, ran the truck and got the bad computer code again. Bottom line, product needs better QC. THIS one should never have been sold.
