Finally found the perfect lunchbox for my kid. Stainless is the way to go! I love the Bento Brand have always purchased their plastic style boxes until now. Better for your health especially for your kid. I will say filled or not this stainless steel has a little wight to it. My daughter barely carries anything in her school backpack when I place this it does make it a tad heavy. Definitely leak proof seals tight and even keeps the food a tad warm until lunch time. I love the squares but the fit is bigger than their original plastic lunchboxes. As long as you wash right away smell shouldn't be a problem - my daughter did forget once over the weekend but even then just the food residue smelled didn't effect anything else. Girly colors and easy to use 10/10 recommend!

The media could not be loaded. I have gone through FOUR different stainless steel containers. All which have broke instantly and had a non existent seal, or one that wasn’t even shipped.At first I thought the price for this lunch box was insane, but because I already went through four I figured I might as well throw in the price of two of those to find one solid lunch box for my son, and I did. The seal on this lunch box is actually incredible. I attached a video to show that it truly is leak proof, and maybe the very slightest bit of water fell out but it was so minuscule compared to the other containers I bought.The only thing I don’t like is the metal clasps in the back. I’m scared it might break as it’s flimsy. If it does I will update this review.Overall, this product is amazing and I wish I found it the first time. The other four containers didn’t look fun either as this one does so my son didn’t think it was his when he first used them. But this one when he seen it he immediately knew it was his and was so excited to use it for school.

The print is cute and my daughter loves it BUT it's extremely heavy! That and the hinges seem hard to use but we'll practice together before school. She's only turning 4 so I really don't know how well it'll work for her but I will update my review when I can.In the meantime... what makes it so darn heavy?! It's not insulated, silicone isn't that heavy, so what is it? We have stainless steel plates a bit smaller that aren't nearly as heavy. What in the world makes it so heavy?!!

This is a great product and super well put together. Love that it’s stainless steel and non-toxic. Stays cool well too if put in the fridge the night before, and so far we haven’t had any leakage. Would definitely recommend and fits into a small backpack. Good value.

I was very excited to receive this product, after searching and reading for hours this was a brand that offered verified quality and safety, the first disappointment was when I took it out of the packaging, the size is so big that it wouldn't even fit in a lunchbox and extremely heavy for a little one in kindergarten, also a little complicated to open because the silicone compacts with the aluminum so you need to apply a lot of force to release it, and it is also complicated to close because you have to make sure you raise the lid before lowering it, too much for small children, the worst thing is that I paid $ 60 for this lunchbox and I received something that looks used, it is stained and although it is said to be stainless steel it has rust marks, really disappointed, I am returning it.

Has a good seal, we've not had any issues with leaking but the hinge requires to close a certain way or it won't latch and the paint is peeling off the top. We hand wash the lunch boxes so there's no reason this should be peeling. It's unfortunate because this seemed like a good option to reduce plastic use but now I worry about my kid ingesting paint flakes.

Durable. works. keeps food cold and fresh. I doubt it will break but if it does i will buy another for kids.

My kid loves the Bentgo Kids stainless steel lunch box! It is durable and easy to clean, which is a huge plus. The compartments keep the food separated and organized, preventing spills and messes.
