It works, but:I got this mini grinder to grind a gift of a number of small bottles of herbs and spices. The first issue is just trying to pour anything into the slit of the grinder. The second issue is that the is no adjustment, everything comes out as powder. It says it will do coffee beans, good luck. It took me 10 minutes to grind .25 oz bottle of herbs and spices, can't imagine of how long it would take to do enough coffee beans to make a pot of coffee or even an expresso.

Well, it’s just beautiful! And works well. Makes a gorgeous wedding gift; get another brass grinder, like the circular box one, and bags of spices, such as cloves, juniper berries, etc., and present both and all fir a very nice gift.

Very difficult to adjust grind, doesn't work smoothly, no bearing for shaft makes for awkward cranking. Looks nice, though ...

I have been looking for the perfect piece for my cooktop ledge. This is perfect. So glad I took a chance and ordered it!

Looks great but opening was a bit small for coffee beans.

Do not use for salt. Won't grind salt even tho that's a claim in description. Maybe for weed whackers if you like a small cute grinder. Not sure of how it can be useful. Is now a tiny knick knack.

Bought this to grind whole nutmeg but absolutely no way to put it into grinder.This would would best with something small like peppercorns.
