Was recommended this product (in addition to 2 others) for hair growth. I have been taking for 3+ months now (have reordered) and do believe it is working (i guess in conjunction with the other supplement and shampoo).

My doctor suggested this for memory decline and I think it is helping. My doc measured my level with blood work and it was low so we doubled the dose.

My D.O. ordered this for me to take when we determined my testosterone and overall hormone levels were low. I was 54 at the time. At first I took one capsule daily (50mg) but after a few weeks or so I had trouble sleeping, and would wake in the middle of the night with claustrophobic feelings. I also had anxiety and angered easily (I am usually a laid-back guy). I couldn't figure it out until I stopped taking this and then it went away. So then I split the dosage into two or three doses, taking one per day (about 15 - 20 mg) for two or three days in a row then not taking another dose until a week or so later. This has worked out much better. I talked to my doctor about this and he said that he has other patients that take the full dosage daily without any side affects. Perhaps I am just more sensitive to it I don't know. Anyway, I really like this product because when I take it in the morning it increases my energy levels and helps me to concentrate. I have a highly technical job and this stuff really helps. My hormone levels have all come back up and stabilized. I also use a testosterone creme every few days or so and that also helps. It is compounded by a pharmacy for me. Note: I think taking the pregnenolone only for a few days then stopping is best for me because it lets my body process it and use it without over stressing it or raising the DHEA and other hormone levels to high. I found a link to a doctor on some website who also recommended not taking this more than 10 - 15 mg per week. It think I fall into this category. with any vitamin supplement, one needs to try to find one that works and for me this one does as hoped. easy to swallow and no side effects

Watch it many sources say that 50 mg of this stuff is way too much to take on an every day basis I urge you to do your own research about this product before just taking it I am a health care advocate as well as adjunct practitioner so I cannot make any recommendations for anyone about this product all I say is do your homework and find out if this is something that you need it is a product that you need to take in short bursts perhaps three months on and a month off I haven't seen any concise research on that but this definitely has the potency to change your hormones the first day I took it I had a Rouzie feeling like I was swoon slightly headachy and intense but that went away after two days I don't know if it was actually related to the product but I do hear that some people do have headaches from this and they have to stop this also interferes with the cannabinoid receptors in your brain so your uptake of THC does not work

I had been suffering from hot flashes since September 2017. I have tried absolutely everything: Clonidine, Gabapentin, Venlafaxine, Paroxetine, Citalopram, black cohosh, evening prime rose, soy, dong quai, red clover, no caffeine, no spices, exercising, no alcohol, cold water, breathing, vitamin e, vitamin c, magnesium, chastberry....... this was my last hope because I was ready to go to Mexico to buy HRTs. I can’t have them because I have a blood clotting disorder. But it was driving me crazy and couldn’t take it anymore. It is hard to find 15 mg. Firstly everyone should know that you NEED to have your hormone levels tested by a Dr. before you EVER take any hormone!!!!! This is not funny stuff and you need only the right amount to benefit you. DHEA is great if you need. Gives you more energy for sure. Just go to your Dr. first. I don't know why this is just an over-the-counteer (so to speak) drug... it shouldn't be in my humble opinion but again terrific if you need.
