So comfortable
I just got this, washed it, and tried it on. It's very comfortable. It's a modal material, so thin and stretchy. The zipper glides easily and appears to be sewn in securely. There were a few stray threads, but nothing came undone in the wash. It's a good length. It would work well as a pool cover up if you like something with a little more coverage. I put it on while I'm doing hair and makeup and I don't have to pull it off over my head. I have fat upper arms and it isn't tight at all but doesn't sag either. So far I am loving this housedress. If it falls apart I will update my review. For reference, I am 5'4" and weigh 180 lbs and I bought a medium

really light & versatile, drapes nicely, generous fit, zipper is flexible-- works with the material
Supremely lightweight, in a good way. Zipper is flexible and thin, it doesnt feel like I have a zipper up against my front side. The robe can be slipped on overhead like a night gown, or can use the zipper. I have this in "A-Wine Red", which is not exactly see through. If the material is pulled taut, then sure I can see my hand a little through it. But just draping? Nah. I could be nakey under this and I doubt anyone could really see the goods.Material drapes. Seems to be true to size. I went with XXL. I am more or less an 18/20 (maybe 22 these days), 5'10" 280#. This fits with room to spare (its stretchy), and it drapes nicely, goes approximately to my knees like shown on model in picture. Their measurement chart seems.I dont intend to sleep in it. I wanted something for use in the summer to slip on for quick jaunts outside, or for lounging around outside and want to be a tad more modest over my usual tank top and short shorts. O r when I am in house and I am needed at the door. I can grab this to put on real quick.I often take my dogs out for potty, play, and just to chill. I simply like being covered up when I am out. I also hoped to use it as a barrier from bugs. I like to sit outside, but having things crawl on me freaks me out. I am less alarmed if it is on clothing. I figure if mosquitos are extra annoying, then I can spray my robe with repellent and not need to spray on bare skin.I would consider wearing this out and about for errand running as an open cardigan style cover up.There are pockets, but they are nothing to get too excited about. I can stick my hands in- just. I wouldn't put a phone in, or anything you dont want to lose. Would be good for a tissue, and that's really about it.I started with 4 stars, but then I reread my review and upped it to 5. There really isnt anything I dont like. I think more functional pockets would be nice. But when do we ever get those in womens clothing? *sigh*

Very soft but see-through
The reason for the 4 star is that it is very sheer and you can see through them so can't really wear outdoors. Price is great and they are comfortable but if the light is behind you everyone will see your body..eek!

Pretty
I was looking for a somewhat thin 'housecoat' that has some style to it. This fit the bill...pretty color and comfortable!

Soft and breathable material.
Love the front zipper. I got this for a hospital stay after surgery. The front zipper was so convenient when checking incisions,I was absolutely pleased with it.

RETURNING ALL 6 ! NOT MODEST ENOUGH FOR LIFETIME BRALESS 60s CHICK ! TOO THIN FABRIC, NOT STURDY
I bought 6 of these XLG during Amazon Daily Deals from 17.99 -19.99. I actually “thought” mistakenly they were similar to Permanent Press fabric but in Rayon or whatever. I’ve been wanting that type at a decent price. I bought all XLG 1) Pink w Blue (not black) Trim, 2) Maroon, 3) Blue Green (actually Blue) 4) Grey 5)Black Red 6) Black Grey. ALL OTHER ROBES HAVE BLACK TRIM EXCEPT THE PINK HAS BLUE TRIM (yuck!). Pale pink w black trim is so elegant to me. Pale pink with blue trim is a softball tee shirt, you know the ones with the body pale pink and 3/4 sleeves and trim around the neck in blue…. Sorry but i never liked those shirts (unless you’re actually playing baseball) I spent $118.33 total. Too much $$$ for tissue paper thin fabric of questionable durability plus the questionable quality of the zipper.PROS1) fabric feels cooling, (I live in the southern half of Florida )2) Soft and comfortable on the body.3) I’m 5’5” they hit me at mid knee. (I’m always searching for below knee, midi, or mid calf.) close enough at a good price…CONS1). Tissue paper thin fabric, even if it feels nice, how long will it last without tearing? Questionable zipper durability.2). Due to a back injury when I was a kid, I never wore bras. The injury was directly under where the back bra band hits. Otherwise I was in great physical shape, breasts didn’t sag etc., still in great shape at 65 years, better than teens and young women, good genes with good exercise… BUT THIS FABRIC IS NOT MODEST ENOUGH OR DISCREET. 1st thing when mom got home from work, she removed her bra. I don’t know what most women do, but I’d never want to need to wear a bra under house dresses ! That defeats the purpose of a house dress! House dresses are supposed to be comfort wear, modest and discreet for family or getting the mail etc. Summary: I was borderline considering keeping both blacks but then durability comes to mind. Also my main reason for buying house dresses is that I’ve live in a Sr Citizens apt building is to be able to not have to change clothes to check my mail or dispose of my trash. These are really NOT DISCREET ENOUGH FOR A LIFETIME BRALESS 60s chick, born in 1958. Comfortable yes, but are they only going to last 2 months? I don’t have money to throw away like that.P.S. I have 5 Ekouer Zipper front dresses/robes, below knee with the collar and love them. The fabric is similar to sweatshirt material but without the flocking. They are really too warm for this area. I love the brand for their ladylike, zipper front robes and dresses and below the knee lengths. Designers: Pay attention please. Older women start having different issues. Zipper front is important especially when you start having daily shoulder problems, bursitis, arthritis, (and of course any hospital operations etc.) Zippers are more youthful looking that the old granny robes w buttons and snaps THAT GAP. I demand below knee because after 65 yrs, I’m tired of fighting with skirts so as to be discreet. I just want to move and sit comfortably. An 80 yr old lady was tired of combing her hair everyday, sm Afro. Yes you get tired of lots of these type things… Basically I’m returning every one of these robes. The main reason is the modesty issue, secondly the questionable durability.
