Long term review - Since having this a couple of months I have to say that this is not as good quality as the original doll we bought. For example, the magnetic dummy attachment is starting to show through on the mouth. Also the doll is not as weighty or "full" as the original doll we bought - example - round the bottom area there is a clear lack of stuffing. The cloth material seems a little on the thin side compared with the original doll.Therefore, after being pleased, I can now see that the doll is not as good as I first thought. Quality standards are clearing dropping compared with previous models.Overall Verdict (originally 5 stars):Somewhat of a hybrid between a cuddly toy and a traditional doll this really is a fantastic first doll for a toddler or pre-school child. There are always plenty of cuddles when this doll is around!Product Details:This doll is made of very soft and cuddly material with embroidered eyes, mouth and nose. The dolls fingers, toes and even a cute little bum and tummy button are all sown into the doll. The tuft of hair is made from a felt like fabric. The doll comes with a dinosaur, striped baby grow type outfit with a matching magnetic dummy. Underneath the doll is wearing a little nappy.What I liked:My two year old son loves his doll which he has called "Billy" - he loves it so much he wanted Billy to have a brother so we have bought him a twin to match..The doll is made from really soft material and is a really nice weight - it attracts instant cuddles from anybody that picks it up.It is really, really well made - the stitching is all of a very high standard making the doll feel really robust. The size and weight of the doll is just right for a toddler to handle with ease. The clothing and nappy are all of a really high quality that is easy for a child to take off and put back on again without the fear that they might rip or damage the clothes. I love the matching magnetic dummy - it gives a good tug when it snaps on to the mouth almost like a baby taking a dummy in real life.The robustness of the doll is really appreciated - My two year old has played with the original "Billy" doll constantly over the last year or so and he still looks brand new. This means that the doll can really take some seriously intense role playing action. Edit - see comment at the top regarding this particular doll.What I didn't like:Nothing of note - my only complaint is that there are no other boy dolls to choose from within the range. This makes it difficult to buy a brother unless you buy a twin. It is brilliant for encouraging creative play, very cuddly but the overall quality lets it down.

Not cheap, but a very attractive and appealing first doll for a small child. The "soother" appears to be a popular accessory but it's one that my granddaughter won't be familiar with and so it may not get passed on.There have been some comments about anatomical inaccuracies - this is a doll and I can't say that any problems were caused to my children by Barbie and Action Man not being fully equipped. I think that by the time the child has any gender curiosity, the doll will have been discarded. Surely not an issue as although the doll has stitching to represent toes, the poor thing has virtually nothing for fingers!The doll has lots of play potential although the Manhattan accessories seem rather expensive.

My 5yr old son has trouble feeling safe through the night, and this cuddly baby was just perfect for helping him. He now feels calm and confident with his soft, huggy baby by his side. :-)

This doll is absolutely gorgeous, bought it for our Granddaughter's 1stbirthday, will definitely be buying another one for our other Granddaughter's birthday when it comes in January. It is really well made they do different dolls and lots of accessories which I am sure will help with 'Xmas presents and other birthday's. It is really light for a toddler to carry and I am sure they will both love them.

My two grandchildren aged one and four adore these dolls. Very easy for small hands to hold and keep hold of. I've bought quite a few of these now as they are always the grandchildren's first choice to take out to play with when visiting. Excellent quality dolls.very soft and cute. Comes with magnetic dummy or bottle.

Adorable. Nice details (the toes, belly button, the nappy), soft but with a good weight, the magnetic dummy is a very smart feature. We bought the ballet dancer outfit to complete it and it’s a hit.

Bought this doll for my little grandson who he has named ollie.. it's quite a nice doll, wouldnt say it's worth the money I paid for it. it's a soft doll, my daughter didn't like the magnet in its face where the dummy attaches to, apart from that my grandson seems to like it.

Exactly what I wanted, a lovely soft baby doll that my grandson can play with, beautifully made, the magnetic dummy is a hoot, grandson keeps trying to put it in his own mouth, so cute. He can take it to bed, turn over on it and it’s so soft it won’t poke or hurt him. Perfect !!!
