Carhartt 18 Pocket Utility Roll, Durable Water-Resistant Tool Organization Roll Bag, Black

I bought this for my husband and he absolutely loves it. He loved it so much he bought one for his friend. It's very durable and fits almost anywhere

Took the longest time to ship this thing but I'm very glad I have it works very well for storing wrench sets and small tools I have metric and standard wrenchs in it and a few small screwdriver jumper wires and other daily things I use for hvac and I'm definitely thinking of buying a second one

I am very impressed with this Tool Roll. I can customize it to suit my needs and have the best tools loaded in it for common uses. I was a bit unclear on a few things from the description. There was a reference to side pockets, these run along the right hand side of the item when laied flat and have a flap over them with a Velcro closure. This is in the area with the "1" in the attached image. I am unsure how or if I will use them but it is nice to know they are there. The remaining 18 pockets face each other with 9 at the top and bottom. The rollup is secured with the two buckles and no Velcro is involved with that closure. I was concerned that if Velcro was involved in the main closure that it would become weaker over time. The 18 pockets vary in diameter from about 1.25 inches to 3 inches. The largest pocket works well for my Wiha Tools Canvas pouch with my precision drivers in it. My trusty Craftsman All-in-One (41748) drops in one of the smaller pockets to assist me in my goto collection.Owning this makes much more sense than carrying a general tool kit in a plastic case or a tool box. Customizing can be done to make it suit any trade or in my case and old retired guy that likes having one place to go to for common tools.

As a service plumber, this roll carries the tools I take to every service call. It could be a little bigger but then I'd just end up putting more tools in it. The one thing I did not like was the little side pouches, they only have a small piece of Velcro to keep them closed and are frequently opening up and dumping the contents, but it is highly durable. Before I got this one I'd buy one every 6 months because they would tear. This one is over a year and still going strong

I originally wanted leather then I compared weight and durability. This is half the weight and doesn't collect moisture like leather would. I would have ended up with rusty tools. I have kept this, fully loaded in a humid garage. NO RUST after 5 months. It holds everything I need to build a shelter and furniture out in the field. Ok, no room for the axe, but you get the point. It holds tools up to 14" without poking out the side. When rolled up, there is no rattle or tools slipping out.

Bought to help organize some tools in my Bug Out Bag. It helps keep everything quiet. Having a pack with gear rattling around is annoying, and can be dangerous if you are trying keep a low profile in an actual bug out situation. It has plenty of pockets for files, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers and blades. The canvas is also heavier than I expected it to be. Well worth the price. I expect no less than 5yrs service out of it. If not, I'll update as I've been updating all my reviews for years..... 08.24.2021

My main tool box was getting crowded, so I transferred a bunch of wrenches and hand tools to this, and it works perfectly, it's nice to just grab all the wrenches and brig them with you. A tool box is nice for small things that would otherwise get lost, but roles seem to be the way to go for mid-sized items. I have two now and both are good quality.

I've had this product for a few months now, and let me tell you, I've put it through some ABUSE. Other than it being pretty dusty now, it's no worse for wear. Carhartt nails it as usual.
