MV-RC300 3.5mm TRS to TRS Line to Microphone Attenuator Cable (-25dB) with Headphone Monitoring for DSLR's, Zoom, Tascam, Mixers, and More

I use this cable with my Zoom h1n and plug it into a DJ soundboard at weddings to record audio. Because the Zoom h1n doesn't have a built in attenuator, this cable drops the DB to make the mic less "hot" and so it does not distort my audio that comes from the soundboard of the DJ. I have used this cable now for 4 years and its still going strong. highly recommend it!

I bought this so I could record audio from my Tascam DR-22WL while connected to my Sony a6300. The a6300 does not come with a headphone jack, so these cables gave me a way to monitor audio very easily. I found the length of the cables to be perfect, otherwise a longer cable might get in the way or hit something that would add unnecessary noises during filming. I'm not an audiophile, but the quality of the audio output from the cables seems to very good and I don't notice any white noise or hissing while connected to my Tascam DR-22WL. Overall, the build quality is really good and I'm happy with my purchase.

I needed to convert a headphone output to mic level. This cable is typically used for line level to mic level, but it worked perfectly for my setup. My goal was to connect a headphone output to a wireless transmitter set to mic level, as line level was too quiet. This cable solved the issue without causing any distortion. Plus the ability to have a headphone attached with just one cable makes this a perfect purchase!

It works. It attenuates line levels to mic levels. The input plug is rather stout. I had to shave the housing for the device I was plugging it into. I used it to take line output and convert to smart phone external mic input. That required an additional adapter going from TRS to TRRS. It worked.

Excellent product, well packaged, and arrived as promised. Exactly what I needed to connect a line level output from a mixer to my Canon HF M30 camera's mic input. I record our church services each week and the built in microphones aren't up to the task, so the line level output must be attenuated. Highly recommended for this type of scenario.

The audio level and quality coming out of my camera, was very good. Now I will have back up audio for all my interviews. I still will use the zoom F6 audio, but the difference is negligible after audio editing. W

Very well made. It has small plastic tags identifying the connections. Works well on my Nikon DSLR. The line in from a mixer can be used without blowing out the camera microphone input.

Garbage! Don’t buy! I bought this to connect a portable radio to my 4K video camera and a separate audio recorder to record the local sports broadcasters during my nephew’s basketball games. MAYBE heard the audio at approximately 10% of what it should be. Could barely hear ANY audio. Used a similar connector that I borrowed from a friend and his works perfectly. Nice clear loud audio from his.

El cable me ha venido defectuoso. Solo el canal derecho funciona. La salida monitor funciona bien pero la ficha macho que va conectada a la cámara manda señal solo a un canal. Tener mucho cuidado si compran este producto. Yo lo compré estando de viaje y no lo pude probar. Ahora que he vuelto a mí país me doy cuenta que no funciona como debería. Cuidado!

This item worked perfectly for a couple of days, enabling me to record straight from turntable to iPhone, but then unfortunately stopped.
