Works like a plastic strip ought to.
This is a plastic strip that fits on the edge of your shower door with the proper adhesive. I give it five stars because so far it hasn't dissolved, or turned funny colors, and pretty much stays a plastic strip every day without fail. It works perfectly because it is still there every morning. What else can you say? Happy now, Amazon?

Hard to find quality product.
It is difficult to find gaskets for older shower doors. There are too many varients, so hardware stores can't stock them all, and therefore, frequently do not have what you need. I was impressed by the selection offered by Amazon's website. This seal fits beautifully and blocks any splashing of water past the door. It is a great buy also.

Do not buy this item
When Amazon says “frequently returned item” they mean it! The seal came in a box with no other packaging! It was only about 12 inches long. What do you do with a seal so small? Way overpriced for what it is. It should have been a roll of this material to use in my steam room. Save your money and time and get something else.

The package was delayed for a week. When the ...
The package was delayed for a week. When the package arrived, it came in with a huge box that I thought I was sent a wrong item. When opened and attempted to install to my shower door, it didn't fit as the "T" portion of the seal was a tad bit small. My first impression was to return it. But then, if I did, I would still have a problem with my shower door leaking on the bottom as it will be used without the seal. So, I thought about it and tried using a strip of self-stick weather seal vinyl foam size 3/8" wide x 3/16" thick with the seal. It worked. Thanks to my stash of stuff that I purchased from Lowes.

Great company and product
Shower Door Direct is who makes and sells this sweep. They've gone out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. After purchasing this, they sent me a follow-up email asking if this was satisfactory, and I responded saying it didn't quite fit. We then talked by telephone and they worked with their people to find a sweep that would work with the oddly shaped shower door I have. The sweep they then sent works perfectly! I'm very grateful, especially after wasting too much money on a variety of "close but not quite" sweeps from HD, countless internet searches, etc.I can't say enough good about these people or the quality of their products. Reasonable prices, too!

Happy with replacement seal
We ordered this item as a replacement for an old worn out strip, approximately 13 years old. Since our local bathroom renovation supplier could (or rather would) not help us, we sought the internet. Happy to say that the item was exactly what we needed. I appreciate the fact that the strip is longer than needed so that one has the choice of cutting it to the exact size needed. The price was fair, especially after 13 years I expected a dramatic increase. The product arrived on time & was packed securely to insure no bending or breakage. I would definitely order from this vendor again.

Product may be bent from being coiled up in the package--here's how to straighten it out.
Just a note about how this product arrived; it was coiled up, and when I uncoiled it, it didn't look like what I ordered--the seal didn't appear to meet the base of the "t" at right angles. However, I flipped it the other way and left it coiled up around a drinking glass overnight (see photo) and it came out nice and straight. So if you think that they shipped you the wrong product, or you think it's defective, try that little trick and see if it solves the problem. I used tape to secure both ends of the seal to the drinking glass, then put rubber bands around it.
