Fantastic for camping.
This starter is foldable and fits in to a carrying bag. Both of those features are great, the small size makes packing in the car or backpack easy - the carrying bag helps keep the charcoal ash contained. However, don't think small size means flimsy, this has a great build quality and should be able to outlast even the best starters out there. The small size makes it perfect for starting coals to use on a Dutch Oven. I have a small 8 inch oven and I need to fill it just a bit more than half way for all the coals I need. I haven't measured it yet but I think a full load of briquettes could easily handle a 10 or 12 inch oven. If you are grilling in a large grill or smoker, this probably a bit small, a full size Weber is a better bet, but for camping or a small grill, this can't be beat.

Very quick and economical way to heat coals for cooking
I do Dutch Oven cooking while remote camping out of my jeep and needed a good way to make coals,. The coal chimney idea isn't new but being limited on space this folding unit is great. Simple to use, compact, light weight and highly efficient. I've only used it a couple of times but with a little paper in the bottom I'm able to get a good stand of hot coals in about 10 minutes which works perfectly for my Dutch Oven and/or grilling needs. It's not too large so doesn't make a huge number of coals but more than enough for my needs and making more hot coals is quick and easy so no worries on that account. What I like most is that it folds flat and is very compact which is ideal for the limited space in my camp kitchen kit that I carry in my jeep. Seems well made, easy to use and very efficient. I highly recommend it.

Still going strong after 20th camping trip.
Love this thing. Does its job, holds enough charcoal for most single dutch oven baking purposes (about 30 briquets). Not quite as fast as my larger conventional chimney with more airflow, but that one doesn't fold down and fit inside the dutch oven itself for transport. For the big scout camping trips, space in the back of the truck or trailer or canoe is usually more of a premium then weight. And the fact that it can live inside the dutch oven means it is seldom left behind by accident.

Collapses to the right size for me
I do wish it was a little bigger but it collapses to the right size for me and fits in my camp box. The reason why I say I wish it was alittle bigger was so it could hold more coal. I have a large dutch oven and this doesn't make enough coal to go below and on top. Otherwise it has been sturdy so far.

Excellent charcoal starter!
It also makes a nice little barbecue with this grill that's sold on Amazon, makes a perfect fit!

Like this a lot more than I though I would
This is a great little chimney. Works the same as all chimneys but it's really nice that it folds down so small. Fits in a 12" dutch oven, easy to take camping or tailgating. Holds plenty of coals to cook burgers for 2-4 people. Kinda pricey, but well made and I'm glad I bought it.

Performs as advertised
This chimney works great. I no longer have to mess with that dirty, rusty old charcoal chimney that never fit anywhere in the back of my truck when it was loaded for a camping trip. This one folds up nice and compact and just drops right into my 12" dutch oven for transport. It is built to last. Love it.

Disappointed in this
I've used many different charcoal chimneys and was looking for one that was collapsable. This is, but after two uses it is difficult to close which I can live with by forcing it, but both times the handle was too hot to actually use it. I can use my grill tools to dump it, but in my opinion it's a poorly designed product that I'd return if it wasn't so dirty. I also think it could use more ventilation holes in the bottom like my other ones.
