I need to amend my previous review, I disparaged and downgraded the transformer as junk, as it turns out someone inadvertently disconnected it from power, I connected to the power and it is working perfectly. Charging the battery on the ring doorbell and showing as wired in the app.

Life saver and came just in time. Moved to new home and did not have a bell system. Arrived quickly and was able to put it up. You cannot tell its non wireless unless i told you!

This is a good unit. It will trickle charge the ring doorbell battery.

I bought this doorbell transformer adapter hoping it would solve my battery issues with a Ring doorbell that's in a high-traffic area. Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. While it seems to provide some power initially, the battery continues to die over time and once it does, it won’t recharge—even when plugged in. I even tried replacing the battery, thinking that might help, but the issue persisted.This product might work for light use, but if your doorbell gets a lot of activity like mine, it just can’t keep up. It’s disappointing because the whole point was to avoid constantly recharging or swapping batteries. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with a frequently used doorbell.
