Cuisinart 12-Quart Stockpot, Hard Anodized Contour Stainless Steel w/Cover, 6466-26

I was in search of a replacement pot for use in making my Italian gravy. It needed to be big enough to fit everything and cook it evenly. I add eight 28 oz. cans of tomato sauce (4 sauce and 4 diced), 2 cans of tomato paste, 1 can of water, 3 lbs. of ground beef, and 2 lbs of sausage - all to this one pot. It holds all of it perfectly and cooks evenly. Nothing sticks to the bottom at all and it holds the heat for hours. Has a great glass lid as well. Definitely worthy of my delicious gravy and highly recommended.

Well, I wanted a pot larger than my 8 qt. stock pot and boy did I get! In the winter I make a lot of soups that I share with my elderly parents and our single son. Looking forward to the fall to put this to work. It requires the silicone utensils due to the superior non stick coating. It practically washes itself. It seems to have nice heat distribution and it’s a well made pot.

It just arrived and I admit, it made me happy. I love the design. It feels sturdy. Haven't used it yet. But am looking forward to making posole or a homemade caldo. UPDATE: I've had this pot for some time now. And all I can say is, is that I'm in love with it. From Zuppa Tuscano to Birria to Chicken Soup! It's amazing. Even heating. Easy to clean. . I'm not the tenderest of cooks. I put my pots and pans through use. And this still looks amazing. I put it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and it has retained its look and nonstick quality. Great for home and gift.

Great, large pot with wonderful heat conduction and a nonstick surface that truly works. It’s excellent for soups, cooked cereals, stews, corn on the cob and any other purpose you have in mind. Got a very good deal when on sale.

Great for soup and stew

I own a small business and cook soup daily. This is the best soup pot I have ever bought. I can’t imagine making soup without this!

My husband and I have both fallen in love with this pan. Due to the unique shape(it kind of looks like a cauldron), it is much larger than it seems. It fits nicely into the refrigerator, which is a plus for someone that loves to make and eat soup/stews. It cooks evenly, without scorching on the bottom. Clean up has been quick and easy. I just don't have anything negative to say about it. We haven't had it for very long, but so far it's just the perfect addition to my kitchen!

I’ve had one of these for several years and like it because of the easy cleanup and the size for making a double or triple batch of chili or soup. My nephew has borrowed mine twice so I bought him one and he was thrilled.

This is a great size - it is not too heavy when it is full but still makes a large batch of soup/stew/chili/whatever. Cleans easily and there seems to be no hot spots.
