Bonvoisin CP-180 Manual Hydraulic Pump Hand Pump Hose Coupler for Hydraulic Tools(8500psi)

I used this unit (CP-180 & 20 ton ram) to jack my house off the foundation to replace the sill plates. It worked perfect for this application. If your choosing between this unit and the one at harbor freight, get this one as the harbor freight version doesn't have near the same build quality (bought both and had them side by side). A few things to keep in mind: 1) Buy some AM46 hydraulic fluid at the same time (this is 15wt oil they suggest). You WILL need to add fluid to the unit once you cycle it a few times to purge the air. 2) It takes several pumps for the fluid to travel to the ram at each use. 3) If you make the mistake like I did and removed the allen screw near the valve (the valve that you use to release pressure), the 3rd pic is how the springs and ball bearings install. Overall, happy with the purchase and the customer service is surprisingly very responsive.

The ram looked OK at a glance, but upon attempting to install we found a lot of teflon tape shoved in the port - it's used and contaminated. We cleaned it up a bit and then found the mating threads to be damaged. Pretty clearly compromised and unusable, clearly repackaged an resold BY THE MFG as a new part. Fraudulent, unethical and unsafe.

It was out of fluid when I got it and when I filled it up, it wouldn’t push the ram for either block I also purchased, I didn’t get to try it till a few weeks after I received it.They read my previous review and offered to make it right, it was a bad tool so they replaced it with no problems. I bought this pump and jack to straighten part of the frame on my tractor. It worked the first time I tried it but 5 minutes later would not pump. I sent 2 emails in two days to the company to get some advice and after the 3rd day with no answer decided to return both the pump and jack.The one time it worked it was a good piece of equipment but without customer support it was useless to me.Customer Service reached out to me to make everything ok so I have changed my review to 5 stars Great customer service!
