Should of purchased this product years ago. Great tool for Flaring copper pipes.

They work alright not bad for a fast flare

Worked but got 2 same size
Worked well with no leaks on a mini split installed . I did get (2) 1/4 flare instead of a 3/8 unfortunately though .

Very useful and precise tool!
This set of bits made the job much easier when threading the copper tubing. The fit is perfect, and we had no issues with refrigerant leaks or anything like that. Definitely a tool worth having if you work with HVAC systems.

The tool heats (friction) and then deforms
Takes some time and practice to get acceptable results. Flaring involves both getting the tubing hot (friction) and subsequently deforming the tube.

not 1/4 bits
these will not fit standard 1/4 inch drills ,I even tried removing the paint to help the issue they are defective/blemished/seconds , call what you want! do not buy these for a standard 1/4 inch drill

For the money it really doesn’t get any better. My father purchased another kind of flaring tool and had to return it due to poor quality, that is not the case here. These are great. I had a set when I was a technician in the field and needed these in order to install some mini split systems and could not be more happy with this set. Very easy to use and built well. I don’t think you can get such a good product for the money.
