Great lock and highly recommended
This lock is great. Bought the 5ft and it's long enough to wrap through the front tire, frame, and then rear tire. It came with a set of two keys, which is nice.It is pretty small, but I don't think that takes away any security from the product. I drove my Jeep over it and it still locks properly. There wasn't any real damage caused to it except for scuff marks (not that I care much about that anyway). I highly doubt any thieves would run over it with a vehicle, but I guess it's cool to know that it won't break.Another cool thing about it is that it is really lightweight. It weighs about the same as a full 24 fl oz. water bottle. I have a commuter road bike, and I hate any unnecessary weight. With this lock, I can wrap it around the frame when I'm riding and I won't even know it's there. All in all, this lock is looking really good! Light weight, small, secure, and a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend bikers use this lock.

Really Thick Cable
This is really a nice cable lock. Granted someone if they are strong enough could cut through it with a very large bolt cutters, but it would take a good amount of time. Very heavy duty 12mm most cables run 8mm or so. Should be mentioned that it does use a hex type key which would maqke it very hard to pick. Length is sufficient for locking your bike to a pole etc. It is not long enough to lock both wheels. Pretty heavy in weight Only drawback I found is it doesn't want to straighten out very much. Lock functions very well and has a cover to keep dirt out. I'm very happy with this cable I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review

Good basic cable lock
The cable was a bit short for some situations, forcing us to combine two locks together. Both keys provided worked. Sturdy enough for most uses. We’ve used it to secure our bike and our surge protector to power poles at campgrounds. If you have to secure to something large, like a small tree, no standard cable lock is going to be long enough, but strangely, we had trouble getting around some power poles at campgrounds.

Great bike lock!
Perfect bike lock for our needs. We have small under-seat pouches on our bikes and needed something small that would fit. These worked perfectly. It is very convenient that these have code words on both the key and the lock so we don't mix up the keys on accident. Not sure the rope would hold up against a serious pair of bolt cutters, but that's not what this product is designed for. Very happy with our purchase.

Great lock. Weak key shell. Had to put back together with JB weld.
Key shell/head broke on me but I was able to fix it with JB weld. Other than that small inconvenience, it works very well and is very strong for a cable lock. Make sure you get the longer one if you plan to wrap other parts of your bike or trash can or whatever you intend on using it for.

No bike lock is really safe, but this one's a good choice
Nicely designed and manufactured. Since U-shaped locks that advertise themselves as being all but indestructible are easily defeated by accomplished thieves, this much less expensive lock will probably serve you as well as anything on the market, and it conveniently wraps around your seat post. Just remember: leave your bike on the street as little as possible, especially in big cities. Your beloved two-wheeler is all too likely to be gone, gone, gone if it's out of your sight for more than a few minutes.

Please do not buy this piece of crap.
It worked fine, like a bike lock does, for a few weeks before it started jamming. It's gotten worse and worse and now I have to use the other keys in my hand to torque the key to get the lock released, otherwise trying to twist the key would be pointless. Getting the actual parts to lock together is a headache as well, sometimes I spend 30 seconds just trying to force the metal part from the cord to click into the lock end. What a waste of money, thanks.

Could be worth it, since it's cheap
This is my first bike lock. I got the thicker cable since the other one seemed too thin. The cable seems adequately thick, it is coated with flexible plastic (I am not sure what the material is exactly). Key+lock = open, keyhole blocker, nothing fancy, just right.Of the 12mm advertised it does look like the plastic is half of it. That was disappointing. What's more disappointing was when I actually used it for the first time. I took the bike out with this lock and when I tried to unlock it to secure the bike, the key broke (check picture). Now, I had tested the key and the lock maybe several times to see how it works, so when it broke it couldn't have been used more than 10 times. The spare key (it comes with a total of 2 keys) is made in the exact same way so I am sure it will brake as quickly. I am not using it, instead I am using the broken key's "key part" by having a key ring go through the small hole it has, in the picture the black bit on the top of the metal, some plastic was stuck in the hole, the part that used to secure it to the plastic key casing. It wasn't a pleasant experience.I am giving it 3 stars because I feel the metal part of the key will survive, the cable lock itself still does feel sturdy even though it's lots of plastic with the metal, and it's one of the cheapest lock options that kinda sorta works.
