Works Great For Edges of Plexiglass
I used this to cover the edge of a plexiglass sheet to keep from cutting myself on it. It was easy to cut for corners. It works great.

Not too heavy duty, but will work for tighter fitting doors.
Less than thrilled with this style. It is rather thin so not alot of protection as it is also soft rubber. Not terrible, I'm using it on one car but it also does not adhere too well to door edges. the advantage over the thicker, metal clad style-depending on your car or truck, you may need to use this thinner style, as I have a little trouble closing doors with the thicker metal clad style due to the tight fit of weatherstripping around the door interiors.

Great application for this product.
I have a new Ford Bronco, and I was worried about the top edge of the tailgate getting chipped or damaged.I searched around trying to find the right product that would cover the edge, but I didn't need 20' of product. I also bought a roll of thin acrylic double sided mounting tape. I applied the tape to the tailgate first, then slipped this edging over top. Then I pulled the second side of the tape off slowly, pressing the edging to the tape as I went along.Works great and looks even better!
