Compact and easy to install
Not a bad kit, mine included all hardware. Did not drill into anything but instead used double sided tape from Walmart to secure radio. Note!! When trying to calibrate the antenna using an swr meter, your not able to, no matter how much you shorten or raise the antenna swr shows above 2 in the red zone in both channels 1 and 40

Good for limited space
Smaller then I thought and I'm happy about it. And works well with the cheap whip antenna I use with it. If you're tight in space for a radio this is a great option. Just read a little because if you want to use a different mic you can't. It's hard wired because the microphone has controls on it

NICE little radio 10-11-12m AM/FM
Ok this little 3in x3 1/2in radio is packed with lots of fun and hidden things. It works on 10,11,12 meters has am and fm with VOX so 24.000-30.000 mhz power out of box is 4w but can go to 15w but this little toy will get super HOT. the MIC is hard wired and ive not found a MIC Gain on it so it's a little soft in that field. But for under fifty bucks its nice. And will fit almost anyplace in you car or truck/jeep . There is some mods on YT for it for the power but id leave it at the stock 4w . It does have a VOX setting . Its limited due to its size the filtering is not top notch but your buying a 3in radio 1in tall with over 300 plus channels for under fifty bucks.

Great asset to have for doordashing
At first I was a little skeptical on buying the CB I had a cobra CB in my old car for a couple months but got smashed when I drove into a telephone pole and totaled my car and I was looking to replace it with a better quality cb radio and I have been very pleased with it super easy to hook up and use and got a successful radio check first try

Excellent Mini CB
For its size, this CB radio packs a punch. Every time I transmit and ask for a radio check, I get very positive reports of how loud and clear I sound. I typically use this as a base unit for communication with truckers at work; however, it also makes a capable mobile radio. In fact, the tiny size of this radio makes it ideal as a mobile unit in a smaller vehicle; however, the button-driven design for adjusting squelch and RF gain (in conjunction with the microphone’s up/down buttons) makes on-the-road adjustments a little too awkward and distracting for my liking—as opposed to more traditional, slightly larger models that feature rotating knobs for squelch and RF gain adjustments. Also, the included cigarette lighter adapter for the power doesn’t seem to do as well in cancelling engine noise or electrical interference as I would like, making it necessary to hardwire it to the battery or fuse box. Hence my preference of using it as a base station: overall less headache in my opinion. It does well with a variety of antennas. I have used a short, standard magnetic base antenna; a sizable magnetic base whip antenna; and a fiberglass Firestik. However, it seems it did best with the Firestik, with little to no antenna tuning required to get an acceptable SWR. Transmission and reception with the Firestik were also superior.Although the legal FCC power limit for transmitting on a CB is 4 watts, I’m willing to bet that this little beast puts out more power than that. The clarity and volume when transmitting just seem too impressive for a standard 4 watt radio. However, I’ve not actually tested the power output it to confirm this. All told, this is a fantastic little CB for the price. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a small but powerful radio for tight quarters.

I was a day late for returning. Now I am stuck with a non working radio. Sad.
This radio lead me down a path that caused me to upgrade everything I use for proper CB communications. Everything I had was working perfectly with my older equipment. But I figured with the new radio my stuff may be a little dated. So I got an Antron 99 with proper grounding. Ripped out all old wire as this radio was giving me 1:3 SWR. So I replaced it with heavy duty RG213. And I was getting nearly imperseptable movements. My antenna was very much dialed in. Even put a ten by ten wire mess cloth at its base just to make sure grounding was perfect.I could hear people. But no one could hear me. The radio always had a high static of 7 to 8 on all channels. Again making me think it was my equipment. But a swap out of radio showed clean clear sound and perfect communications.Sorry to say I would not recommend this as a way to save Pennie’s. You really get what you pay for.

Pleasantly surprised
If you don't own a cb i recommend this one. Basic radio, easy to use. If you are looking to outfit a second vehicle, I recommend this one.
