The second one i received was great for me and my daughter day together. the ease of use was very simple, and it came with the perfect size to start our journey. ease to clean and I'm just happy that i had a great product to use with spending quality time with my daughter.

This cute little kit is smaller than I expected for melting wax, but it's still great for beginners looking to create their own candles or wax melts. I made my first candle using the lemon scent included. Unsure of how much fragrance to add, I went by smell as I mixed it with the wax.The process was straightforward, and although I was nervous about making mistakes, it turned out better than I anticipated. I used a digital scale to measure about 3.7 oz of wax for my candle in the provided metal container. I added half a block of yellow color, which didn’t fully melt; I realized that might have been too much for a single candle. I recommend starting with a smaller piece of the color block and adjusting after it melts, as half a block was too much for me. Nevertheless, the candle turned out a lovely shade of yellow with the melted portion.I'm currently letting it set, but since it's late in the evening, I’ll likely try it out tomorrow. I’ll update you on the scent it gives off then!

This kit has nearly everything you need and more. The amount you get for this price is wild. This is a starter kits. Everything arrived well, but I did have a few bent candle metal tins. They are pretty thin. Otherwise, you get everything you need for at least 12 candles. Their are plenty of scent options that mix well. You could use this with kids, it’s pretty safe and fun. The heater gets hot but it comes with gloves.The box is kinda hard to repack.

It comes with instructions, but not very clear on how much fragrance to use. For the 6oz I used 30 drops of the lemon oil. Once burned I placed in the restroom for better results since it is a small candle an open space won’t work as well.It gave a decent aroma, not strong and not so faint. I think next time I’ll add 40 drops instead to get the perfect smell for the lemon.I’m experimenting on mixing colors, I have not burned the peppermint with lavender yet. I’ll update as I go. But I’m liking it so far.FYI: the 6oz wax does fill it to the top. So the lid won’t close all the way and the wic is also in the way of the lid, even though it’s cut off. I don’t have a problem with it since they are for my house I’ll just burn them and add the lids later. But I’m thinking once I make them to give them away I won’t use all the wax at once (prefer to save it then throw it)The next one to make will be for my mother for Mother’s Day I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making them.

Overall this kit has everything EXCEPT enough wax to fill all the time that are provided. That was a serious downfall, imho. Although boxes and labels are provided they're plastered with the company "name"- SAEUYVB which detracts from the item, imho. Quality is good/acceptable for a beginner. The instructions provided are adequate.
