HOTKAR Dusky Crispy and Salted Bombay Duck BOMBIL Dry Fish 200GM

I ate these and gifted to many people who are dry fish lover - all said these are great dry fish.I have request for more of these.People who have been buying, cooking and eating Shutki (Dry Fish as called in Bengal), says..- These did not have sand or dust (which often is the case when dry fish are bought locally)- These did not have reddish marks, which is due to fungus growth due to improper drying and then later storing- These did not seem to have any chemical etc.- These were quite thin as compared to locally available dried ones. That could be because these are properly dried/dehydrated. When things are dehydrated then they shrink and shrivel, so it is perhaps good thing.- These gave great flavour and smell when cooking.Things that could be improved:- Shipping time. It takes somewhere around 10 days to get the items- there are two kinds of items - one comes in orange pack and another one in white. It is not clear from anywhere how these two are different (I'm guessing one is with salt and other one without, but cannot know for sure).

It is costly but an excellent product. Would definitely recommend this particular product to all those who need.

The product we received was absolutely terrible. The taste was really bad.Our bad we ordered 4 packs at once & couldn't even return.Looking at others reviews am assuming we got unlucky with some poor stock & assuming the brand is good. Nothing against them. Thanks
