I don't know if you've looked lately, but even half way decent universal bore sights aren't cheap and the cheap ones are...well...cheap. I don't do many product reviews, but this is bang for the buck and works great. The packaging alone is quality. Instructions are limited but it's relatively straight forward if you know what you are doing a little bit. If you don't know what you are doing what some youtube vids. It feels sturdy in your hand, the switch is not chincy, and it secures well in the barrel. What's not to like? Paid for mine and they most certainly are not holding my family hostage and forcing me to write this if I ever want to see them again (btw).

Absolutely brilliant. The ease of use of this is great. It's so versatile and it's small and mobile. Comes in a box. Great design and unbelievable value. I've ordered from tacticon 4 or 5 times already and as long as Jacob keeps making great products he will have my business. 10 out of 10 recommend. I've used it with 3 guns today and can't wait to sight in some more. Thank you tacticon for saving me money and for another remarkable product.

This boresighter is quality made. It's all metal construction shows it will last. First of all the box it comes in says a lot about what kind of product Tacticon produces. The marketing folks went above and beyond to make the appearance of product exceptional. The boresighter comes with not 1 but 2 batteries which is a plus. All the needed tools comes with this kit. The only thing I would change is how the different tips are packaged. It would have been nice if there were individual holes in the packaging to house the different tips instead of all shoved in a small zip lock bag. That is the ONLY thing I would recommend for them to change. This boresighter is top notch and a great addition to any gun enthusiasts kit. Well done Tacticon!

I got this to put new optics on all my bang sticks to stop me from having to have tons of bore sighters. First 12 gauge I used it one I chased the dot forever trying to get it maxed out the dials on the optic could not get it to work. Went on YouTube watched the video the company had on it to try to figure out what I was doing wrong. Could not find any obvious reason why it was snug and I was using the correct fitting and it still would not work. Had another bore site used it and bam took me 10 seconds to get it sighted in. So figured maybe something was just wrong with the 12 gauge adaptor. Went to the 223/556 still same issue would not recommend this product. I was really hoping it would work to I like what the company stands for and their marketing is awesome but I do not think I will be getting anything else from them.

Battery life is great, just needs a better spacer for the 12 gauge. It is loose and does not stay flush to the barrel.

I've used this on my 6.5 Creedmoor 20" Bergara, a Sig 9mm P320 pistol, and a 7mm magnum Remington, not to mention a couple of .22's. Works. Every. Time. Word of warning to those new to the game: this awesome device is not meant to be beat up. Tighten the mechanism just enough to make it snug; don't force it or overtorque it. Remember, the barrel is steel, and the bore sight is aluminum. Guess which one will win if you force it. Be careful not to strip the adapter heads, also, because, guess what, PVC is weaker than aluminum. Respect the tech and it'll serve you well.

Great price and quick delivery. It seems very well made, and came with enough screws for each adapter, plus the tools needed to set the laser up. As a test, I installed it on a 6.5 CM rifle. I started with the 30 cal adapter but it proved way to large to enter the bore.After several more tries I ended up finding the .235-7.62x39 was the best fit. I bring this up because what is printed on the bag isn’t necessarily the correct fitting. Go by size. As in the instructions it states this is for indoor use (laser power?). If you look at the pictures, you will see 2 outside test I did. It was near dark, but the low area was around 50m, and the telephone pole was just short of 500 ft. This system should be more than adequate for outdoor use.. A couple of improvement ideas, make a series of common size adapters and also offer additional inside/ outside targets for sale

I did things in reverse. Yesterday I was at the range testing muzzle velocity of handloads with a chrono and at the same time fine tuning fixed sights on a rifle and a red dot scope on a different rifle.I got them zeroed pretty well so I used those rifles to check out the Tacticon Universal Boresighter which I received today. On both rifles the Tacticon Universal Boresighter red lazer pretty much aligned with the sight pattern on the rifles. There is a slight concentricity error as you rotated the Universal Boreisighter but it is very minor---all borsighters that I have used have this issue to some extent. With the Universal Boresighter you can rotate it, since it is external (not pinched in the chamber), and evaluate the concentric error. A very good product and I really like that it handles so many calibers.Thanks Jake for a nice product,
