I use this with my Ascend sit on top kayak. I know other kayakers that have had the wiring from their depth finders damaged by heat when using in-hull mounts, so I decided to go with this option. It's a slight hassle to take in and out every time, but I'm hoping it will extend the life of the product.

Installed this on my 2016 Jackson Big Rig kayak. It works perfectly. It sits the transducer low enough into the water, but tucked into the scupper hole enough that it is protected against dragging.

It's a great product, but could be better. It's made extremely cheap. I can't tell you how many times I've had to retighten the wing nut because it just slips off the threads. If it were made out of a harder plastic or maybe a light weight metal, it would get 5 stars no doubt.

This mount doesnt make it clear what models it works for. Doesnt worth with my triple shot.

It was very easy to install but only time-will-tell if it will hold up!
