With three tablets in the house (new M4 iPad Pro 13, iPad Air 4, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S6) that are used at home and on the go, I needed a stand that is versatile, lightweight and stable. Nothing covers all these bases as well as this UGREEN aluminum adjustable height stand.It handles all of my tablets, provides all of the heights and angles I need. This includes using one of the tablets as a secondary monitor and wanting it closer to the height of my 27" 4K monitor and also on the go to achieve a more ergonomic viewing height while using them with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.With all this versatility, it's amazing that this stand also folds up into such a lightweight and compact package for throwing in the backpack. Brilliant design.Yes, there more secure/stable stands with magnetic attachment, but the ones I saw were mostly restricted to a specific iPad model and were either not foldable or too heavy for carrying in a backpack. If you have kids and pets running around or you tend to knock things over a lot, you might want one of those.One more caveat: There's not enough surface area on the tablet cradle to support drawing or pressing on the tablet in portrait mode. But it handles landscape reasonably well. Also, the stand can be tilted forward all the way with no loss in stability for landscape drawing mode.Note: A few reviewers say this stand falls backwards too easily. This is not my experience. Just be sure to keep the stand tilted slightly forward. Even a slight 86-degree tilt is significantly more stable than 90 degrees. Any backwards tilt greater than 90 is ignoring the laws of physics and begging for trouble. Use the tilting head to adjust backward tilted viewing angles(> 90)—NOT the height adjustable part of the stand.

Very sturdy stand to hold your phone or tablet. I've bought a number of stands in the past, and none of them compare to this one.It is a bit heavy, but that is telling of the stability and durability of this stand. It's made of a durable metal. In the photo, it's holding an 11 inch iPad Pro, and could withstand the pressure of using the Apple Pencil to draw. There is a moving neck that allows changes in height to the stand, so you can have it low, or raise it to almost be the height of a small monitor.I'd highly suggest this stand, although the price is a tad high for a stand, it's far better than spending more money on a few stands that don't compare in quality. Buy it!

When I received an unboxed this item I thought you gotta be kidding, This thing is way too small to work! But when unfolding and setting it up, the product is very well machined with very high tolerances, and there is a bunch of friction in the movement, which helps keep it stable. It also has good weight for its size. Long story short, I was able to put my 12.9 inch iPad on it with the cover still in place! The range of motion of the item was more than enough for me to set my iPad at a comfortable operating level and it was very stable during use. This product is very carefully thought, designed and manufactured, and exceeded my expectations in all respects. Strong buy recommended!

I was surprised at how compact this is. Folded up its footprint is smaller than my iPad and it’s a little ligher.I was concerned that it didn’t go high enough for my purpose but it turned out to not be a problem. It can always sit on a book if necessary. Great for travel.

I tried a few stands before I purchased this one. I love this stand. I love how the stand extends so I'm not killing my back to bend over. Very sturdy as well. I use my iPad on this as well as my iPhone.

First impressions....SOLID !! Extremely adjustable. Well made. Only nit to pick is that the pads in the hooks are not easily removeable. My Tab S7+ with case barely fit. As taking the tablet in and out of the case is inconvenient, I took a razor and worked the pads out. Now a good bingo !!
