Two years of rough use. Kept together really well.
So I've bought one of these previously about 2 years ago and the glue has finally given up for the loop. Also partly my fault because I did start picking at it and I tend to hold the loop partly for a better grip on my phone, having fingers rested on it for that, and so on. I have smaller hands and the s20+ is pretty big. Even besides that I can drop things because nerve and general hand issues so I've been generally pretty handsy with the thing.Could just glue and sew it back together. Right? Well also lost the wrist strap at one point, and then eventually the clip and added a keyring to hook my fingers and other things to the loop (twisting it more and probably adding to the stress on it), so buying another one.My main job is a delivery driver and I in general have my phone used A LOT. This thing has saved me so many times considering my butter fingers, even without the strap, and considering the general abuse I've put it through for TWO YEARS I'm really impressed with how well it's held up, considering me. I didn't even realize how long it's been until I checked for when the first purchase was. So between work, general use, taking pics, clipping it to things, being twisted around all the time, being picked at and yanked all the time, yeah it's a bit more expensive than some other things on amazon but it's held up really well and the other parts did too until I was dumb and lost them.Never know if next one might have some issues but that can happen at times. Has been awhile also but I can just add stitches or re glue things together. I did see something about an issue with charging port being blocked and admittedly that has happened a few times when it slipped free because I dont really use the sticky thing on my phone to keep it in place so when I was figuring things out for what phone case worked for me and it gets pulled a lot the thing got pulled a bit, but then I just reseat the tab under the case and it's fine. Not a big deal at all. The case I have now keeps it in place now fine so that hasn't been a problem either even without any sticky tape. For wireless charging it doesn't cause any issues either for in my car or any of my other stands. I also like that it's under my case Instead of being stuck to the case because I'm a lot more likely to pick at the thing if it was stuck to the outside, and my phone is in and out of my bag and pockets all the time from work and in general so I'd feel things being stuck to the outside would be too likely to peel off and re-sticking things suck. Either have to buy new products or glue them! (Again, why I'm also impressed the loop held up so well as long as it did with everything it's gone through.)Seriously though I wish a lot more stuff lasted so long under heavy constant use. For what it costs, it's really good.Even if you get one that doesn't hold up as long, or it falls apart a bit too soon then consider writing the company about it first before a bad review because issues sometimes happen and can likely get a fix for it. If you're wary about it then can put a stitch in the loop just in case too, but really the edges of it has barely even started to fray too and I kind of did that myself with the keyring, but hasn't unraveled after clipping off that part that came loose.

Best thing we bought for our phone
This is one of the best purchases we bought for traveling. I would suggest this for anyone.

Good, but room for improvement
Good product, is everything I was looking for. Recommended. That said, now almost 3 months in, the loop part has already started to wear/deteriorate from the metal clip (see photo). I wish it wasn't doing this so soon, and I think a clip with a wider and flat top would have avoided this. (I think possibly the included *plastic* carabiner was intended to be the connector, despite the product photos. However, I find it's too big to leave on your phone, have in your pocket, etc)

$50+ in products defeated by this amazing item!
My job as a patrol officer requires me to walk along various docks all night and last week my phone joined the many others decorating the bottom of our lake. Determined to never have that happen again I purchased a slew of products I thought might prevent losing my phone. I tried a ring that goes on the back of the phone with 3m. I attached a lanyard to it with a carabiner so it would stay attached to my belt or hand. The added width of the ring (especially with the carabiner made getting my phone in and out of my pocket far more difficult and made it uncomfortable to have anything else in the same pocket at the phone. I tried silicone webbing that wraps around the corners and back of the phone - nifty but the silicone strap broke after two days. I tried a pouch that hangs around the neck and keeps the phone dry - stupid idea on my part. My job requires over 200 pictures per shift and that pouch hindered every moment of work. Finally when I thought I was going to just have to be maddeningly careful and paranoid while walking the docks from now on this amazing product appeared in a search on like... page six. It is perfect and should be on page one!- The leather that the strap is hooked to is super sturdy and the entire thing is taking all the abuse I can throw at it.- The clip has an extra bit of plastic that is like a hook on it. This makes putting the clip on something simple and prevents the lanyard from easily coming off when you take the clip off your belt.- the strap is adjustable and the lock for adjusting the strap is easy to use even with thick gloves on.- no discernible added weight without the lanyard.- the leather does not seem to increase the heat of the phone and does not prevent my otterbox defender from closing the rubber cover for the USB-c port.- does not get in the way of using the phone in any way including wireless charging.I am incredibly thankful that I found this simple yet brilliant strap. I will update this posting after a few months go by or sooner if it breaks!

A sturdy phone strap
This served it's purpose, which was to add a reliable wrist strap to my mobile phone. There were cheaper clones available, but I wanted to ensure that the strap would not fail under stress/use. You have provide the case, but in my case (pun intended) the strap did not interfere with charging the phone or using the phone when the strap was not attached.

SOLID LEASH
purchased to keep phone (camera) secure while rock climbing. nice to have the phone as a guidebook and for taking photos on multi-pitch routes. Had to dremel my case a bit for optimal fit, but this thing is locked in secure and I'm never worried about it dropping.

Clever idea well executed
This strap, whilst a little on the expensive side, is the perfect solution for those people who can't bear to part with their favourite brand of phone case, but require the security of having a hand strap. Photographers for one, who hold their beloved phones out at arms length where they are more vulnerable to dropping or being snatched. The quality is very good, as I have come to expect with Black Rapid (I have used their camera straps in the past) and although it is perfectly possible to put the padded part in the case without securing it with the included double sided tape, it does mean it doesn't fall out should you take the phone out of the case, so this was a welcome addition. If I have any criticism it is the packaging - it was difficult to get the padded loop out of the box and I cut my finger on a staple. All in all - It's a very clever idea that works perfectly. I am delighted to have discovered this.

In total I got 3 of them. Two of them broke after half a year.
I really love the idea of this product. I bought one of them and lanyard seam started ungluing after a few months and finally broke completely (less then half a year).I needed it for my sailing trip (it is a necessary thing on a boat) so I asked my friend to get me another 2 of them (last August). This time when I saw first signs of ungluing I added a layer of strong glue which helped a lot - but I already know that this product will not survive one year of usage - maybe another layer of glue would help. The third one I gave to my brother and he is fairly happy with it. For him the problem is that the strap started pilling a little bit but he is not using it on his primary phone. In general you expect more from 20£ product. I used 2 in one year and for less then 40£ per year you can get insurance...

Great for peace of mind
Although its not advertised for it, I bought this strap after having my phone stolen from my hand by a passing cyclist. I wanted something that would give me some peace of mind when using my phone in public. It has also come in handy for times when I accidentally lose my grip on my phone preventing me from dropping it. Another benefit is that I can occasionally clip my phone to my clothing or let it hang from my wrist if I have no place to put my phone down and need my hands free100% recommend this to anybody who is prone to dropping their phone or would just like to keep their phone secure in their hands

Sizing not for everyone
the strap is a good length for my medium size lady hands. I can have it tethered round my wrist and still text. If I had hands the size of shovels and wrists like a tree trunk, then maybe it wouldn’t be so suitable.Very strong and well made. Trusted it enough to use it on a zip lining trip

More expensive than other - worth it
This strap is pricey but was recommended by a colleague who had it for other a year and never had an issue with it.I bought it on sale for pretty much half price (woop, woop!) but i think it is worth full price in all honesty - non bulky, steady, easy to adjust, easy to clip/unclip, made of good quality materials (i.e. metal, anodised carabiners not plastic).
