North Carolina Mountain Cured Country Ham Trimmings 5-4 Oz. Packs

This is the best package of ham trimmings I’ve come across. Lightly smoked with a flavor akin to prosciutto and a clean smell. Worth every penny and if unopened will last quite a while, according to their website. Had fun cooking with this! Makes an awesome Red Beans and Ruce Am going to make this one of my kitchen staples.

These were absolutely delicious. Great value for the money, very enjoyable. Just remember this is age ham, so it does not taste like the ham that you buy it the grocery store. Taste like Pershido.

I use this product in soups and stews because one pack is a perfect amount (and taste) for the size of meals I make.

Very salty. I let it soak. Then used it to salt and flavor gravey.

Terrible taste!

Has a bit of an off flavor. Not sure what it is. Almost like it’s old but if it was old it would be saltier.

Since it is salt cured, I had to soak the ham in a bowl of water overnight and then I could use it. We found it almost flavorless and after trying to use it several ways, we gave the other 3 packs to a neighbor who said he wound up throwing it away after trying to eat it. NOT GOOD!
