The Qabalistic Tarot Book: A Textbook Of Mystical Philosophy [Wang, Robert] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Qabalistic Tarot Book: A Textbook Of Mystical Philosophy Review: Excellent Reference Book - This book (and I purchased the hardcover) has a excellent introduction to the Tree Of Life/Kabbala system of Tarot. The rest of the book has very deep write ups (and their association with the Tree Of Life paths) on each card in the deck, and also extra chapters in the back regarding additional information on scrying and divination. Overall, I would highly recommend this book for anyone studying/using/learning about the Tarot, and it's related meanings/systems. This book supports the Rid-Wait Tarot, the Golden Dawn Tarot, Crowley's Book of Thoth Tarot, and the Marseilles Tarot. This book covers much more than a standard introduction. It is also well written for beginning students to the Tarot, and also more long-term diviners. Either way, fantastic addition to have and Wang's writing is a witty read. Review: Great book - Excellent book. Very clear and interesting!

Not for me!
The book has a lot of info and even though the concepts are kind of complicated, the author tries to explain it on an easier, less complicated way. But the book is just not for me, if you really want to get deep into the Kabbalah, then this is perfect, if you want just a glance and have an idea of how is tarot and Kabbalah connected, then look for another book

The Standard Text of Tarot Symbolism
There are books that don't come close to the quality of this one that will sell for twice this one's price and more.

Mind Blowing and Brilliant
This is a book filled with so much knowledge, you would have to read it multiple times to get it all and even then you will miss some stuff. Love it

I ordered this as a replacement for the very old and well-worn hardcover edition I had decades ago, and the description was of a paperback. I was happily surprised when a new hardcover arrived at my door. This is one of the essential texts on tarot, and next to The Book Of Thoth, the one that lays out the tarot as a textbook for the universe wonderfully. Wang's a bit dry, but this can be a dry topic, so that is understandable. The four decks used as examples in this book are The Golden Dawn Tarot, Rider Waite Smith, Thoth, and Marseilles. It is helpful to have at least two of these to see what is different and why changes were made.

This book had been recommended to me in my search for tarot/Qabalistic reading. I followed up Dion Fortune - The Mystical Qabalah with this book, which is probably the best way to get to grips with the subject. Qabalah is one of those topics where the more you read the more you will keep discovering - and this book is no exception, you will learn a lot from it and it will springboard you onto other levels of reading. Physically, it's a good sturdy hardback with good quality paper, designed for reading. This book is my new go-to reference material for tarot and beyond.
