24 Pin to 6 Pin ATX PSU Power Adapter Sleeved Cable for Dell Motherboard with 6 Pin Port 13-inch(33cm)

Works perfectly fine with my Optiplex 7050 Sff

I needed to change my PSU in my Acer Nitro N50-620 but my motherboard doesn’t have the standard 24pin power header, only a 6pin power header. This adapter allowed me to change PSU’s! Absolute LIFE SAVER!!

This cable successfully allows me to use a 500W PSU to power an optiplex motherboard, but after shutdown within the OS, the motherboard loses power but the HDDs, external fans, and PSU fan itself stays on unless you flip the switch in the back. Currently searching for a schematic to see what my PSU requires to shut off but otherwise

If you're upgrading your PSU on a 6 pins mobo, this does the trick, keep in mind that on certain Dell and Acer your PSU fan will stay on even with your PC completely shut down, the two work arounds are turning your PSU switch off or your power bar off every time you shut down your PC, a small inconvenience to run a better GPU in your massed produced PC's :)

Works like a charm and this saved me from purchasing a whole new motherboard and case.

Noting here the cable also works on the Vostro 3471, which is not noted into the products list of dell models.
